NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Grammy Award-winning Americana and bluegrass duo Mark and Maggie O'Connor announce their signing for exclusive representation with The Kurland Agency located in Boston. The veteran Jazz music agency that reps Wynton Marsalis, Pat Metheny and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, has expanded into Americana, world and other genres. 

A three-time Grammy Award and seven-time CMA winner, Mark is a legendary multi-instrumentalist and composer, famous for his work on fiddle, guitar and mandolin. Maggie, a talented singer and violinist in her own right, won a Grammy as part of the former O’Connor Band.

The single arrives ahead of their forthcoming album A Christmas Duo, due out Friday, Nov. 14. Mark O’Connor, a three-time Grammy Award winner and seven-time CMA Musician of the Year, is a legendary multi-instrumentalist famous for his work on fiddle, guitar and mandolin. He is also a ground-breaking American classical composer known for pieces like “Appalachia Waltz” and “The Fiddle Concerto.” Georgia native Maggie O’Connor, also a Grammy winner, earned a master’s degree in classical violin performance from the famed Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore before returning to her own Americana music roots and teaming up as a duo partner with her husband Mark.
