IR Plus - Infrared Hydrocarbon Gas Detector for Marine & Offshore Safety
The IR Plus is a two-beam infrared hydrocarbon gas detector intended for real-time and fail-safe detection of gases such as methane and propane in extreme industrial conditions. Equipped with dual IR waveband technology, the device offers fast and fail-safe detection with fast 4-second response time. The device is made to be rugged and stable under extreme temperatures and high humidity, supported by a five-year warranty that saves maintenance costs. The advanced heated optics with Stay-clIR hydrophobic mirrors dissuade false alarms due to dust, moisture, and chemicals. It provides non-intrusive, remote testing and is easily integrated into monitoring systems through outputs like 4-20 mA analogue, RS-485 (Modbus), and Local-HART. Optional display modules are available to allow for various installations.
