Last Call! Apply for CTL Fellowships by June 15th!
The CTL has two new fellowship opportunities designed specifically for Columbia graduate student instructors and applications are open now for the 2026–27 academic year! These fellowships are a fantastic opportunity for graduate students to hone their professional and instructional skills.
Teaching and AI Fellows (TAIFs)
This fellowship is for graduate students who want to think seriously about what AI means for teaching and learning — not just how to use it, but how to teach well in a world shaped by it. TAIFs develop critical frameworks for AI literacy and explore practical models for the classroom.
TOFs work with CTL staff and a cohort of peers to observe, analyze, and strengthen teaching practice — your own and others'. Through classroom observations and collaborative activities, TOFs develop a more intentional, evidence-informed approach to instruction.
