Known Issue Log Notifications

The Berkeley UCPath Operations team currently manages a Known Issue Log. It can be found on the Transactional User page on our website. It lists current known issues, workarounds if they are available, and any other known information. A second tab is also available with historical known issues which have been resolved. 

In Google Sheets it is possible to set up a notification so that you get an email whenever the sheet is updated. This email can be sent immediately or as a daily digest of changes. To add the notification, select the “Tools” menu, and then select “Notification rules.” In the pop-up to set notification rules, select the radio button for “Any changes are made” and then select whether you would like an email right away or as a daily digest. Lock-in your selections by clicking “Save.”

Talent Acquisition Management

Personalization Feature - Fixed

Personalization settings now permanently save in the Talent Acquisition Management module in UCPath. It allows for the columns that display to be adjusted based on a specific transactor’s personal preferences. This was demonstrated during the User Group this week (1/12/2022). A job aid will be added to UCB’s UCPath job aids for Hiring Supervisors & Interviewers

Position Management

Known Issue Update - New Position Emails

We recently got more information on a known issue that has been happening. Sometimes the email sent to an initiator letting them know that a position has been approved doesn’t have the correct position number. For this reason, we have recommended searching for the position number in the “Add/Update Position Info” page rather than using the number in the email. 

The UCPath Center has determined that this is happening because the system sends the email and then tries to create the position.  Sometimes between sending the email and creating the position number, the position number that is created ends up being the next position number rather than the one in the email. Most likely this only happens during peak volume.
