For once, it's a pretty small batch. I really don't know what to icon anymore right now so I am posting this before I forget about them. Also, with finals coming up, I'm going to be super busing craming everything.

I think I am really content with this batch - I really like what I did with some of the icons. I did a lot of messing around with photoshop - and while I was at it I thought, "Hey this kind of reminds me of something..." I think how I thought up some of the styles were because I was inspired, especially by poshing of a_darkdesign and born_butterfly of violet_clouds. And the amazing, yet entertaining tutorial by 00mina of evercouldbe really made me want try some blending. If you have not heard of these talented people, go check their communities, it really is worth the visit!

HIATUS
My first year of college is starting and I am in need of steady concentration. Of course this means that I will not have another batch of graphics until a big break, which would suggest the winter season! This is also a good thing for me as well because I am running out of things to icon since I don't really like to make stuff with the same images over and over since my creativity plays out plainly. Anyone who is going back to school soon, good luck!
And a huge thank you for the 78 watchers! I will try to do something for you guys when I have free time! I hope I will not disappoint you guys in the future, :D.

Well, this batch will be the last one for awhile since college will be starting soon for me (and first year too! D:). I will probably make a formal announcement about a hiatus soon. It's a very "Asian-y" batch - since I am kind of into them right now - but I hope you watchers enjoy it still! Since the fall season is coming up, ideas will eventually come to me. I did a whole bunch of experimenting with this batch with light textures and contrast. And I definitely had fun making the Katie gif, xD. Hey! A change in the community... not a big one though. So, magicprints will no longer be a blogcrew and graphics community but just a graphics community. I am terribly sorry for those who have been waiting to be added onto the lists from the blogcrews since last October! D: I will update them whenever I have the time and when I am not a lazy bum. Also, tsukiida has left this community because she has lost interested in blogcrews for quite some time now. If you are interested you can check out her new graphics community, wiredknots! A New Look for the New Year

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

I gave magicprints a new layout and with a header this time for a fresh start. I really want to change my username but the only way I want to change it is by a rename token which is never going to happen until who knows when however long I stay here at livejournal. Anyways, I hope you guys like the new look for community. The header features, of course, the one and only Christian Bale - my favorite actor in the whole wide freakin' world. xD The header image can be found at Christian-Bale.org and the texture used is by caffeine_minds. I wish you guys a wonderful year!!

On another note, I had put the community on a temporary placement of allowing users to join the community for some odd reason, but I put the community back on closed membership.

Wow... three icon posts in one week... It's probably because I am on Winter Break. I don't normally icon Asian stuff but I had to after watching the first episode of Akai Ito. I thought the way it was filmed was just beautiful and amazing. The filmers did a great job. So here are 53 icons of the first episode, I probably didn't do justice for the drama but I hope someone out there still likes it. xD I also did icons of Erika Toda after finding some pretty scans of her but I didn't do so well to make them prettier. Hi everyone! I finally got a batch up! :) This is a pretty big one since I have been working on this batch for awhile. And some icons are pretty old. xD I guess I am kind of happy with how the icons turned out except for the Walk to Remember and the Nolan's Batman series icons especially the Joker icons. They seem kind of fugly but I still posted them up anyways. This batch was done on September 13, 2008. I would have posted it up sooner but because of this huge storm, I lost power and all. D: Hope you guys enjoy them. I tried some new coloring technique that I came up with my own. However I did use two tutorials on some of the graphics, which were designed by the amazing buggerfck at saltyaria. For example, most of the black and white icons such as 1 and 2 of CB, some few colored icons and The Notebook banner were all used with her fabulous tutorials. :DD

School will be starting soon, so I will leave you guys a graphics batch as a gift. xD I will probably be under hiatus. This is my very very first icon post! I've always wanted to make icons and I finally made a batch. I do have to confess that some of the manga colored icons are pretty old, haha, but the other stuff are new. I think I am pretty satisfied with this batch, not with all the icons but I guess most. :) It will be pretty rare that I will be making icons though. Since my photoshop trial expires today on my laptop, I don't know when's the next time I will post the next one. But you're free to watch the community. This community also posts up blogcrews though.
