I was ridiculously excited when this theme was announced. Not only was it incredibly interesting (epitome is basically a favourite word of mine!) but the freedom of the theme was thrilling. I could icon anything, anything! I'm fairly sure it let me go a little crazy. These are a far cry from my comfort zone, but I'm so incredibly excited with how everything turned out (I think). The first ten icons are dedicated to moments/feelings/screencaps that epitomize each of the ships at various stages throughout their relationships, and the second ten - well, it's a little eclectic, in that it originally started out with sidekick moments that epitomize the characters and their personalities, and then I got a little sidetracked by amazing red-heads, so there's an interesting mixture of icons right there. Everything is really heavily inspired by the general theme, but it was also inspired by the words, the textures and the icons.
