HIATUS, CANON UPDATING, & DROPS
HIATUSES
Need a break? Let us know how long you'll be gone with a hiatus owl! Please note: hiatuses must not last longer than a month, but if something longer is needed, please contact a mod. Indefinite hiatuses are not allowed.
Please try not to hiatus just before activity checks, especially if you do not have enough activity to pass. They will reflect poorly. Furthermore, hiatuses must be at least ten days to excuse you from activity checks.
There are two options when you go on hiatus: ● Auto-Pilot - Your character is assumed to go about their normal business in the school.
● Sleep - Your character loses consciousness and is transferred to the Hospital Wing, under the care of Madam Pomfrey, until you return.
CANON UPDATING
If you wish to canon update, please be aware your character will be asleep in the Hospital Wing, IC, for 3 days. As they are asleep they will dream of returning home where the update will occur. When they wake up, they will be changed in any way necessary for the update.
