I am Maggie Stiefvater, author of more than a dozen novels for all ages, including SHIVER, which spent over 40 weeks on the NYT Bestseller list, THE RAVEN CYCLE, one of the most starred series ever published, and THE SCORPIO RACES, winner of the Printz Honor. My first novel for adults, THE LISTENERS, was a USA Today bestseller. I have also written novels, graphic novels, and features for Disney, DC Comics, and Hearst, among others. My novels can be found around the world and, often, so can I.

Prior to my writing career, I was a full-time artist and musician (I play many instruments, but I am most infamous for the bagpipes); my art can still be found on special editions and my music on several of the audiobooks.

I live in Virginia with my husband, seven dogs, and a very growly tuner car.
