March Bingo
What did I do this month...
Looks like I got a BINGO!
But I’m not stopping. I’m actually thinking MAYBE I need to even edit my BINGO card (since I’m taking a TT hiatus), but for now, moving forward, and this is what I accomplished on my BINGO card in March.
Make A New Author Friend -
Jayna Morrow and I started following each other on Instagram because of our mutual love of bird watching and our bird buddies. She was visiting nearby for Spring Break so we met in person and talked about books, birds, and had some great drinks at Leather Bound Book Bar in Fate (My first but not last time there!)
Do A Buddy Read -
My teen likes to bully me to read the same books as her. So we had a spring break trip planned and decided to find a series to read together. We picked out The Delirium Series by Lauren Oliver. And since our vacation was pretty crazy (IE we got stuck overnight in the Houston airport) there was a lot of reading time so we were able to read Delirium and discuss. Now she’s just finished Pandemonium and I’ll be moving onto that after I finish Dungeon Crawler Carl.
Make a Miniature From my WIP -
I decided I wanted to try miniatures but I didn’t want to get TOO complicated.
I found an easy way to make colored pencils using toothpicks and markers, plus a little paper pouch.
In my WIP Dark Comedy that’s Hunting Wives meets Reality TV, one of the couples meet when she’s a model for a drawing class. I thought “HEY THIS WILL WORK!” And was a nice way to take an eye break but still think about my writing.
Do you have a yearly BINGO card? Did you hit any goals last month?
