MAFA News & Updates
First, our September financial report:
Income: $13,999.50
Expenditures: $24,005.92
Deficit: $10,015.42
Note: We have not yet touched our savings account, which I have maintained knowing that at some point we will need this for a major jury trial. Remember that small donations add up to a lot. If everyone in our database donated just $5 per month we would never have any money worries again!
NEWS!
President Trump stated in a press conference that there was a link between taking Tylenol during pregnancy and ADHD and/or autistic behavior of children. Many commentators were quick to claim that this was false, but evidence shows otherwise…
Information obtained by Epoch Times shows that in 2018, employees of both Johnson and Johnson and its subsidiary, Janssen, had concluded that there definitely was a link. Rachel Weinstein, director of epidemiology at Janssen wrote, “The weight of the evidence is starting to feel heavy to me.”
She was referring to a review of nine studies that concluded that acetaminophen taken during pregnancy was linked to autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Jesse Berlin, J&J’s global head of epidemiology, read the review and wrote that “there appears to be some specificity of the association.”
Researchers in Denmark reported the results of an observational study in 2014 showing that acetaminophen taken during pregnancy was linked to a higher risk of ADHD and hyperkinetic disorders in children. The company considered providing funding for additional research, and then decided not to, ostensibly because executives were worried about sending a message to pregnant women that they should not take drugs to reduce fever.
A 2020 prospective study in Canada also determined that acetaminophen during pregnancy increased the risk of ADHD for children. Lawsuits have been filed on behalf of women claiming that they should have been warned about this risk, and that J&J’s failure to investigate further was only to protect its product and market share. Bottom Line: Trump, RFK and others did not misreport or misspeak about this issue.
Here’s a short Q&A on this topic between my coauthor and I:
In our new book, Conversations with Pam: The Power of INFORMED™ Healthcare, we explore a wide range of topics related to this one, taking a critical look at the evolution of our medical system. We examine what has unfolded in medicine over the past 100 years—from the inception of the AMA to the most recent public health failures—uncovering the hows and whys behind the system’s current shortcomings. More importantly, we look ahead to a brighter future, presenting practical solutions and offering a guide to building an independent healthcare system—one that truly serves the patient and honors the principles of informed consent.

Correspondence from a subscriber Re Henry Ford Health vaccine data…
A few weeks ago, I reported the data gathered by Henry Ford Health concerning vaccines and health issues in children. Here is a short summary:
Infectious disease specialist Dr. Marcus Zervos and colleagues studied 18,468 children born between 2000 and 2016. The data were taken from the system’s insurance plan which included information from medical, clinical and payer records; and also from Michigan’s immunization registry. At ten years, 57% of vaccinated children had a chronic health condition like asthma while only 17% of unvaccinated children had a chronic condition.
The authors wrote: “This study found that exposure to vaccination was independently associated with an overall 2.5-fold increase in the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, when compared to children unexposed to vaccination. This association was primarily driven by asthma, atopic disease, eczema, autoimmune disease and neurodevelopmental disorders. This suggests that in certain children, exposure to vaccination may increase the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, particularly for one of these conditions.” (2)
The study was never published, but it was discussed during a Senate Subcommittee Hearing. One of our subscribers shared the video with a friend, who replied with a link to an article on the Henry Ford website, which my subscriber’s friend claimed debunked the information I reported in the video. I clicked on the link my subscriber’s friend provided, which took me to:
Fact-Check: Debunking the Top Myths Around Viral “Vaccine Study” posted on the Henry Ford site. The statements on this site had nothing to do with what I reported.
In fact, here is, verbatim, the first paragraph, “Henry Ford Health condemns the spread of dangerous disinformation connected to a ‘documentary’ that falsely claims our nationally recognized academic medical center and research institute suppressed a draft of a research study because of its results.
“The purposeful twisting of information in the “documentary” poses a direct public threat. We implore anyone who comes across these myths to read the facts below.” (3)
The first problem is that I did not make a documentary, nor was I part of any documentary on this topic that anyone else produced. I do not know the title of the documentary, and it is not included in the statement.
What I did do is report on an article written by the researchers who conducted the study. This is the conclusion, which I copied from their document:
“This study found that exposure to vaccination was independently associated with an overall 2.5-fold increase in the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, when compared to children unexposed to vaccination. This association was primarily driven by asthma, atopic disease, eczema, autoimmune disease and neurodevelopmental disorders. This suggests that in certain children, exposure to vaccination may increase the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, particularly for one of these conditions.” (4)
NOTE: I have downloaded this document to our server just in case it disappears from the internet, which is sometimes the case with inconvenient information.
Our subscriber then queried ChatGPT for an opinion on the matter. Chat GPT claimed that several “scientists” had debunked the study. I won’t waste time reviewing this since Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been shown to be incorrect so many times that I just ignore it and advise serious people to avoid using it – particularly if they want to remain credible.
This brings me to the next topic …
Concern about Artificial Intelligence.
Researchers Carl Heneghen and Tom Jefferson reported in a recent Substack that they asked ChatGPT about a Cochrane Review titled “Vaccines for preventing influenza in the elderly,” which was published in 2006. (5)
Here is what ChatGPT reported:
“Another meta-analysis by Cochrane, a well-respected global organization for health research, found that flu vaccination significantly reduced the risk of severe complications and death in elderly individuals. The review concluded that flu vaccines in elderly adults reduced hospitalizations by approximately 30% and reduced mortality from flu-related complications.”
The problem? Tom Jefferson was one of the authors of that article, and he knew that the summary from AI was incorrect. Here are a couple of sections of the article copied directly from the text:
“These results indicate that 30 people would need to be vaccinated to prevent one person experiencing influenza, and 42 would need to be vaccinated to prevent one person having an ILI.”
“The study providing data for mortality and pneumonia was underpowered to detect differences in these outcomes.”
“No data on hospitalisations were reported.”
“The available evidence relating to complications is of poor quality, insufficient, or old and provides no clear guidance for public health regarding the safety, efficacy, or effectiveness of influenza vaccines for people aged 65 years or older.” (6)
Further dialog resulted in AI making the following correction:
“You’re absolutely right to point out the Cochrane Review’s conclusions—I made an error in referencing it, and I appreciate your diligence in catching that. Let me clarify with the correct information and provide a more accurate overview of the Cochrane findings and the broader evidence base regarding the flu vaccine in older adults.”
And then AI reported the accurate results summarized above.
For the record, I know Tom Jefferson personally. I’ve read and reviewed his articles for a very long time. I met him in 2018 when we both delivered talks at a conference on scientific integrity in Copenhagen. He’s an excellent researcher, and was principled enough to resign from the Cochrane Collaboration when the organization accepted donations from the Gates Foundation and subsequently fired Cochrane associates who were questioning childhood vaccines, particularly the HPV vaccine.
Also, for the record, this episode is not an isolated incident. Many of my colleagues have been reporting the same thing. AI seems to have been programmed by someone or something to deliver preprogrammed results that are often incorrect – at least in the area of health and medicine.
Bottom Line: DO NOT TRUST AI WHEN INVESTIGATING HEALTH-RELATED ISSUES!
Updates!
Just in case you were thinking that MAFA’s work might be almost done, get a load of this …
One of our MAFA members visited a Beth Israel facility to have an ultrasound screening for cancer. She was presented with a 5-page consent form that included these statements:
Consent to HIV Testing in the Event of a Staff Exposure. The signed document serves as consent if the patient is unable to give consent at the time of exposure.
Consent to allow personal healthcare information to be given to others such as training staff and students so that the institution can serve the community and its patients better. These disclosures can include info about HIV, AIDS, mental illness, sexually transmitted disease, drug/alcohol treatment, genetic testing information, abortion, sexual assault counseling….and more. This statement is included in the document: “I understand that all Beth Israel Lahey Health Entities are required by law to enter my/my dependents immunization” into “Massachusetts state registries, or the New Hampshire Immunization Information System.”
Organs, tissue, or other materials removed as part of treatment can be used for research and educational purposes.
So, what happened? Our member asked if she could edit the document and was told “no” and was also told that if she did not sign it as presented, she would be refused services. She was also told that she would not be able to talk with anyone about it either. She left the facility without getting an ultrasound.
What can be done about it? MAFA lawyers are on it – investigating options and potential lawsuits. It is likely that Beth Israel is not the only medical institution using a form like this. More and more institutions are likely to insist on this type of consent form as a means for reducing the potential for litigation.
And just a friendly reminder…
The medical system is crumbling and cannot be trusted. Hospitals and medical centers are not safe places for people. The system is beyond repair, and we need a new one. What it takes to have a new one – lots and lots of people, and it’s up to us to gather them if we want the situation to change.
What’s next:
Our organization – MAFA – started when there was nowhere to go but MAFA meetings – the world was shut down. And people were scared – something bad was happening almost every day and we all knew that more was coming.
Today there are lots of things to do and many places to go and the threat does not seem so imminent. So, what do we do now?
Here are my thoughts:
First, we must acknowledge the importance of close connection with people of like mind and agree to congregate regularly for that reason.
Second, we must recognize that as long as people are seeing doctors (and let’s face it, sometimes there is no choice), or being admitted to hospitals, lawyers are needed to ensure that bad things don’t happen, or to sue if they do.
Bad things ARE happening now – such as attempting to harvest organs from people who are very much alive. Informed consent laws are routinely violated, and things often go horribly wrong due to staffing issues, stress, and other factors.
Third, we need to remain aware that very loud and still influential groups of health professionals, public health officials, and elected officials are believers in public health and our current system. Crazy laws have already been passed in many states that take away the right to refuse vaccines, and more are coming.
Fourth, if we want a new healthcare system, we are going to have to gather up enough bodies to create one.
I think all of this is a good reason to build a strong consumer movement with Tribes in every neighborhood.
And finally .. Remind everyone to donate! We need money.
We accept cash, credit cards, and now can accept stock donations! To make a donation, please visit https://makeamericansfreeagain.com/donate/ and don’t forget to tell a friend!
