HotStuff! is a Hotline Connect client developed with REALbasic 3.5.2. HotStuff! finally brings Hotline 1.8.x features such as threaded news and banners to the 68k platform as well as being one of only two Hotline clients for Classic Mac OS able to connect to multiple servers at once.
Still under active development, HotStuff! aims to bring back the joys of Hotline Connect to a new generation.
HotStuff supports basic turn based online games over a private chat. A few games are included in the main achive and if you want to modify any of them, or make your own from scratch, download the "GamePlugs SDK and Sources" package to get started.
New in latest version 2.0.62:
• GUI changes for a more consistent look and feel
• Windows render 2x-3x faster on 68k Macs versus previous versions
• Bug fix where application would crash the OS on System 7 machines if Appearance Manager wasn't loaded
• Uploads and downloads now work on 68k Macs including uncompressed files with resource forks
• Total feature parity achieved between 68k, PowerPC, Carbon versions
FAT version works with System 7.1 to Mac OS 9.2.2 (with CFM-68k, Thread Manager, Drag & Drop, Open Transport and Internet Config 2.0 installed on 7.1).
Carbon version works with Mac OS 8.6 - 9.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.1.x - 10.5.x
If using the SDK or compiling the GamePlugs from source, the compiled binary needs to be compiled as a FAT and Carbon binary respectively, using RealBasic 3.5.2 to keep compatibility with the main client (so people can play your games using HotStuff).

What changed? Please put a little info here when updating. Thanks for your hard work Knez.
Thanks man! Just trying to contribute to the Hotline scene
I registered just to say this looks really hot (pun intended)! I used to do all sorts of things with REALbasic, so it's heartwarming to see both MacOS 9 and REALbasic software being developed in the 2020s.
first comment lol, also i was a hotstuff tester (see about window
