From their website:
From its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Carracho Communications GbR serves the world with innovative Internet applications.
Founded by the two students Jörn and Mirko Hartmann in Berlin in July 1998, the company has developed the powerful "Carracho" client/server suite for the Macintosh platform. The system combines popular Internet services, such as real-time conferences, file transfers, and newgroups in a single, easy-to-use environment. The products are based on newly developed protocols to grant faster transmission than using standard Internet protocols. The clear and simple user interface allows average computer users to become power users minutes after the first launch.
Ever since the Carracho suite was released in February 1999, it has received enthusiastic response from its rapidly growing worldwide user base.
Carracho Communications looks forward to bringing new exciting products and upgrades to its users in the new millennium.

I used to love using this for file sharing when I was younger. I had my own server running on my imac g3. I used up so much data I got in trouble with the isp and they threatened to put me on a business plan if I didn't cut it out. I was 11 at the time. Hahahaha.
