A couple of days ago I was looking for a copy of The National in a Coop in Stonehaven. I eventually found the last copy underneath another newspaper, semi-hidden from view. It’s so pathetic that Unionists fear independence so much that they feel the need to hide a newspaper from the publics gaze.

I’ll lay this out as simply and as plainly as I can. The Union is expensive. We hear about Brexiteers saying the UKs membership is expensive, they have no idea how expensive an unfair union is.

Scotland has been part of the United Kingdom for over 300 years.  As a part of that United Kingdom, she has participated, whether willingly or not, in some horrendous crimes against humanity.

This past Saturday afternoon, I sat and watched the videos and photos being posted on Twitter of the 100,000 independence marchers taking to the streets of Glasgow in a joyous celebration of what could be.  I attended last year, but this year I was resigned to interfacing as a ‘cybernat’.

I’ve been thinking over the past couple of days since my last blog post on how I see the independence process ending, and sometimes I just wish I didn’t think so much as I occasionally wonder down a rabbit hole that raises concern.

As most are aware, the First Minister made a statement to Parliament on Wednesday setting out her thoughts on Scotland’s constitutional future.

I’m up to my usual tricks again….digging about and trying to understand the dynamics of an unfolding situation that just appears to have the hallmarks of a long, hidden hand process that’s been potentially unfolding for some time.

Here I am sitting in the airport in Oslo on this sunny Sunday afternoon thinking about a couple of points that have occurred today.

Reports by Channel 4 news have disclosed that the UK economy is losing £800,000,000 a week due to Brexit. Scotland, with 8.2% of the population, and 8.2% of UK debt (as we are always told by Unionists) is losing £65,600,000 a week as a result of the actions of voters from another country.
