Join the Team at MAA – Make a Difference!

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and play a key role in delivering life-saving medical aid overseas?
At Medical Aid Abroad (MAA), we collect, sort, pack and send much-needed medical supplies to people in need across the world.

What We Do

  • Receive donated medicines and hospital supplies from across New Zealand.
  • Record items in our client-accessible databases and store them in accordance with international standards to ensure quality.
  • Pack and prepare shipments for overseas distribution.

Your Role

  • Volunteer once a week (Wednesday mornings, 9:30am–1pm) at our Auckland hub (Greenlane Clinical Centre, Epsom).
  • All willing helpers are welcome, whether you’re from a medical, nursing or pharmaceutical background, or simply keen to help.
  • Enjoy a friendly team environment — morning tea is part of the deal!

Why Volunteer with MAA?

  • Be part of a passionate team making a genuine impact across the globe.
  • Use your time and energy in a meaningful way — your efforts help deliver vital healthcare resources where they’re most needed.
  • Develop new skills, meet wonderful people, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
