I am back again for round 2. YAY! :D Did you miss me? When I first read Merenwen76's story, this was the first image that popped into my head. I wanted a misty effect...to refer back to the title. I rather liked how it turned out.

This was another one that just came together instantly. I knew what I wanted to do and it actually worked out. Unlike the next piece....

This piece took hours...HOURS....and I am still not happy with it. I almost want to delete but my author liked it. So, it got to stay. Still don't like it.

After many years of not doing art for any project, I decided to come back with a bang (haha...corny joke). I got to work with raving_liberal, who made my job easy. Thanks for that! This piece was actually a cruch time piece. I wasn't much luck on finding pictures for 2nd piece which was my orginal plan for the cover art. I threw this piece together which I actually liked it. It focus 4 most important people in the story (You can't forget Baby too). So, it got to stay.

This piece took me hours. Finding the right pics (I have way too many pictures of the Impala and Jess on my hard drive)....finding the right colors (Orginally, it was blue). I had at least 3 drafts of this piece (No, you aren't going to get to see them). It took a bit of time to find the right blend and color...finally came together. I am rather proud of it.

I haven't done art in years. It felt good to dust off the old photoshop to do it! Apparently, I still like colors and blending. I also wanted to incorporate some of the elements that my writer wrote in the story (old vs. young...different timelines, etc). On that note, Cas's hair is really hard to make grey. I did it but it took a lot of time to do it.

Interesting enough, the save file for this piece was called maybe. I wasn't too happy with it because I wanted to do a piece where they were lying side by side in the beginning. I tried different images and didn't work. So, I did it for another scene in the fic and my writer seem to really like it. So, here it is!

This piece came as a surprise. I searching through images and came across a scene of Sam praying. It hit me like a bolt that I could incorporate that into a piece. It took me 30 minutes to do this piece. I really like how it turned out! :D

I want to do something with the line Ruby Queen of Lies. After playing around, this was the results. I really like it.

There were so many images that I wanted to include. So, I made a collage of sorts.

This piece was orginally for another bb but the author never contract me back. But I kept it around in hopes that it would be use for something. I rather like how it turned out. ^__^

I have no excuse for this piece. I wanted Kevin all bloody and pretty. He isn't as pretty as Sam when he is hurt but he is my second favorite. I am rather happy with the results.

I really didn't want to spoil the story in anyway. So, I decide that to incoperate the title into the title art. I rather like how turned out.

I went blues because I wanted to show Cas's mind set during the whole fic. It wasn't a very happy place but neither was Sam...so...

Which brings me to my last piece. While Cas's art was more a depressed nature, Sam's was more shattered even with his guide dragon with him. But guys...:(

Soo...when I said that I was done with BB this year. I lied. Okay, I got ask to pitch hit. XD So in less than a week, I had to put together a couple of art pieces. YAY! ^__^ So, I got to work with Alexis for this short go around. She had some awesome ideas and she was awesome to work with. So, that really helped me get started.

This is one was done before I read the fic. I normally ask the author if they have images in their head that they wanted to see. Sometimes, I can do it and sometimes, I can't. She talked about Jensen had a view of Manhattan and the little art bunny came up with this. Alexis, I also try to add the angel wings but they refuse. :( I tried it with different tones (sepia, black and white, etc). I rather like it like with the gritter tone.

I have some experience with doing this type of blend before. The window gave me a little trouble. SO, I made a second layer and blurry it out. I think that it turned out lovely.

So...Jensen's career as a police officer didn't end pretty. I wanted to show that in this piece.

This is my author's favorite piece and mine. I took the idea when she kept talking about puzzle pieces and crated. It is was also a cover art possibility. I changed my mind after trying to add text. XD Although, it didn't come up in the piece. I was originally going to put Moby Dick book but the thing didn't want to blend at all. So...I just add the words in the corner.

Sooo...>.> Jensen's porn. XD That is all.

This time I am really done with bb this year. IT was fun! I must come back and do it again next year. Do give my author some love before you go.

This is my last art post for this bb season. It has definitely been fun. I had the pleasure of working with this moonyj4m. She was easy and fun to work with. So, go and give her fic a lot of love.

Without spoiling you, I want the cover art to represent Sam's shattered memories. The good and the bad but they still made up him. While the erasing and the blending wasn't the fun part, I still like how it turned out.

I have a soft spot for Cas/Sam. So...shoot me. XD

I want something to match Dean's mind set during a part of the fic. Dark, twisted, and driven. I like how it turned out.

Spoiler! Dean is dead. Sorry. XD

My first art post for this big bang. Did you miss me?

This second year that I worked liyah ayerst. First off, we didn't plan this at all. I have been doing this for many years and I have never worked with the same person twice. I remember staring at the name....thinking. I know this name. Where have I seen this name? So, I search the name...looks who art came up. Mine. xD She was wonderful to work with again. Her story was just awesome as last year. So, go and read it and give her a lot of cookies.

I had to mess with a few brushes to get the desire effect I wanted. I want something gritty but bright. Hopeful vs. hopelessness. It was interesting feeling that ran through Season 9 and this fic as well. I wanted to bring it out in this piece. And no...this isn't just another excuse to use brushes. :-P

Some of my favorite scenes in the fic (and SPN) when they are sitting down and working together. So, I wanted to show my love here for that type of scene.

So, liyah_ayerst and I really enjoy Sam's soul misadventures through the SPN universe. (He is so cute...you will see!) If this image looked familiar, it is the place that Sam and Dean staring at the stars in the finale in Season 5.

Sam's soul in a jar was one of the first scenes that I did. It came out to what me and liyah had in mind. XD

This piece actually came from a conversation that we had about Sam's soul floating around the car and messing with the radio. I couldn't help myself.

So, I still did a reflective piece. A single flame and a single moment...weather they are lost in thought or facing their choices through the story. I want these pieces to reflect that.

This is my last piece for this RR_Bigbang. YAY! ^__^ I am finished...and I got a cold. Fun. XD But I got to work with the wonderful spn_bookworm. She did a wonderful job bring my image to life. So go and give her some love.

Look Familiar? It should. It was a inspire by another piece I did. Despite their similarities, I wanted to do something different. The tone was not as harsh tone as the old piece. The coloring was different. I rather liked how it turned out.

Dear...lord...where do I start with this piece? This...just...this! I worked on this piece for 2 hours. Trying to find the right images...scratching that idea out because I couldn't find what i want. Started to make them from scratch...then toss that one until I made this one with the mask (you don't want to see my idea of a Ferris wheel). I kind of like it despite simplicity.

So, after the other piece, I slip into an comfortable old shoe and sighed happily. I love blending and coloring. This piece should my love of both. It is pretty.

So...mods want more art. My internet was acting weird. So, I drove into my stock images that I keep from project to project. I came up with this. Out of all of my reverse bb pieces, this one is my favorite.

The hardest part was finding the right warehouse to put Trust on.

Coffin! Jared...I couldn't help myself. To get the right contrast, it was mixture of layering, blending, and the contrast tool. I rather like how it turned out.

I was really unsure about this piece. My author adored this piece. So, it stays. I don't do pieces like these but I was sort of press for time. I wanted to included a lot of elements into one piece. So, I thought this one up.

Normally, I do the cover art first. This time around, I did it last because I couldn't figure out what I was going to do. I re-read the story and decided to bring a book theme since that was one of the common elements that bonded Bobby and Sam in the show. I like how it turned out.

This was my back up cover if I couldn't figure it out. Again, I went with a old time-y look since we were look at Sam and Bobby's past together.

Actually the hardest part of the piece was finding a picture of a boy. Everything else was easy. Go figure. XD

I am back around for another big bang season. You guys don't really want to know how many BBs I had signed for. A lot.

This piece was experiment. I wanted to do something different from my typical pieces. While it wasn't a popular piece (it wasn't chosen until the final round), I am rather fond of it. Black and White was very much the Lucifer and Michael's theme. A contract of them really.

I decided to continue with that theme. Problem with black and white images...not so much fun blending. I did the best I could. It turned okay. It did make me miss Lucifer. (We totally need to get Sam crazy again...so, he can pop up again)

I rather like this piece. It was the first meeting between Dean and her OC. I think that it works out well.

Soo....I am not sorry for how many pieces of art that I made. Neither are my authors. So...ha! And Enjoy!

Biggest problem that I had to work with was most of these characters never meet. I could do the whole person place in another picture. It is tedious. I didn't have the time with doing art for this, Reverse Big Bang art , and FMA banners. And you know...the other stuff like work, sleep, etc. XD With that So...I was like thinking...thinking. Idea! Make a scrapbook!

I actually did this one while I was traveling to a wedding. Not too bad while traveling on a plane.

This was actually the first piece I did. It set the feel how the rest of them would be made.

The idea of switching from Charlie to Jess was my authors' idea. They thought that Jess and Charlie would work on the scrapbook together. So, I carry out their evil wishes. :) And Jess is right...Poor Sam doesn't really smile much anymore.

So, I have these things called stickers in my Paint Shop. I was thinking self...Charlie is such a sticker person. So...stickers!

I know for a fact that this is my authors' favorite piece. You guys will find out as you read! ^__^

One more time for the year...it has been a fun experience. probably won't sign up to do art for 3 Big Bangs. Of course, I could be kidding myself and do it again. XD My author was a joy to work with. She was awesome. So, go and give her a lot of feedback. ^__^

Just from the title of the fic. I knew I wanted blood in it somehow. Strangely enough, the glowing eye thing didn't happen until after I finish the piece. I thought to myself. Mousey...let see if you could make Jensen's eyes glow. I was like...okay, self. It added a nice little twist to the art work. I like how it turned out.

I spent a great deal of time on trying to find a street light that would work for this piece. Guess, what? I couldn't and decided to make my own. XD It turned out shiny.

I wanted him to stand out in this piece. So, I made the tombstones darker and black and white. Keep Jarad in color. This turned out to be my favorite piece out of the bunch.

I like shiny colors. I wanted to do the nightclub in some type of way. I couldn't figure out how until last week. Opps..? I just love the feel of this piece.

This is my first time making dividers. Neat, isn't it?! Author wanted bunnies. So, you got your bunnies. I drew the cowboy....yes, I have full size somewhere and no, you may not see it because the color version turned out terrible. :( But looky! I made dividers!

I told you guys that I would be seeing you again. So, here I am! My author was fun and easy to work with and she was like I LIKE YOUR THINGS! So, yay!

This piece was inspired by another piece that I did. I was flipping through some of my old artwork and came across a piece where I burn Sam's eyes out. The little art muse went 0_o and then yay! Following that train of thought, I went through the progress of hollowing out Sam then fill him up again with light which themed after the ficcy. I like how it turned out. :)

Oh, vision! Sammy...how I miss you sometimes. It was back in the simpler times of SPN. -nods nods- Originally, I tried the light brush and it didn't work what I had in my head. So, I switched up with a texture brush called Chaos. Ta-da! It worked! Despite the control he had during the fic, it was still painful for him. With the texture and the images I choose, I think they fall in line nicely with the fic.

I try to do different things every year. This year I drew! And...I hated how it turned out. :( I think that i ran into the trouble of running out of time and taking on 3 big bang projects didn't help at all. AND OMG! SCANNERS! Lesson learned. It was something nice to try but I won't be doing it again.

Again with the light brush, themed much? I really liked how this piece turned out. Sam kicking Lucifer out. Turned out awesome.

This is my favorite piece and actually my current wallpaper without the saying. My original plan was the crossroad piece being the fore front and the Impala being in the background. The Impala was being a butt. So, she moved to the foreground and the crossroad piece moved to the background. I like how turned out. Although, it seemed to be like another wallpaper I did. -eyes the Impala-

You guys are going to see a lot of me this week. (Aren't you guys special?) My author was awesome to work with. She was like...I LOVE ALL YOUR THINGS! I was like yay!

WHen I first get a draft, I read it through and write down possible art ideas. Some get used. Some don't. Cover art is usually first thing I get done. But for the life of me, I couldn't figure what to do. So, I look at my little idea sheet and one of my first ideas was bullet holes. Thus spark my little art muse and this piece was created. I liked how it turned out.

I actually googled images of new programs and got the general idea for this piece. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what font they used! I still really liked how it turned out.

This piece...OMG! turned out to be the biggest pain out of the bunch. I had to cover all things! Text and former pictures. I am sure that there are easier ways to do what I did but I had no idea how. It still turned out pretty good...but still...so much pain!

I want to include the letter in some type way. So...ta-da!

I am not totally in love with this piece. I wish that I had better images of both Js and I can image the idea in my head would have turned out much better. But oh, well.

Art for Septembers_coda's Toward the Lie

You guys are back! Yay! Under the cut is my rambles about my art for this reversebigbang. This time I did warn you guys.

When mods needed said that more art, I decided why not? Problem was my internet was acting all dodgey. So, I started digging through my stock images (because I keep everything...I am not joking there. Trust me.) and made this. I really like how it turned out. It is pretty.

I decided to theme this banners with same shattered glass effect earlier on. In Early version of this piece, the clouds were more sepia tone. Problem was...you couldn't tell that they were clouds. So, I changed the tone and made the clouds more noticeable.

This piece was easy to make(YAY!). I think the hardest part of this art was finding an award to use for the blending. Go figure.

Originally I tried to add our new angel friend to the piece. He just wouldn't work. Stupid angel. While this isn't my favorite piece, I like the feathers.

My writer wanted a Dean piece. She threw a whole bunch of ideas at me and this one stuck. I wanted a subtle piece compare to the others. I really liked how the whole thing turned out.

Last note: My author was a blast to work with. You really should go and read her fic and give tons of hugs and feedback.
