TLO Update Jan 24th – Hasta la Vista, Davos Man!

The Jan. 20 inauguration of President Donald Trump and his flurry of statements and executive decrees over the following 48 hours have riveted the attention of a world in commotion. “The whole world is looking at the United States, and depending on what political camp you are in, between hope and fear,” Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche commented today, at the outset of her weekly Dialogue webcast. The situation, she added, is “complicated and multi-faceted,” and Trump’s actions are not all coherent with each other. He is impulsive and innovative at the same time.

But far too many people are wasting time debating whether the glass is half empty, or half full, listing off the good and the bad things Trump is doing and saying – when what is actually happening is that the entire nature of the “glass” they think they are looking at has changed dramatically. And that transformation demands our immediate action. “We are now experiencing a tectonic change, where the 500 years of colonialism is coming to an end, and the BRICS countries are trying to create a system which allows for the economic development of the Global South.” They have become protagonists in the shaping of Man’s future.

Despite his uninformed (and counterproductive) attacks on the BRICS, President Trump has stated his desire to prevent World War III, to normalize relations with Putin’s Russia and end the Ukraine war, to cooperate with China to make the world a better place for all nations. This change has created a strategic opening that must be quickly leveraged to bring about a new reality “on the ground.” The most urgent –perhaps also the hardest – place for that to happen is in Southwest Asia.

The Israel-Palestine crisis, including the genocide in Gaza and increasingly in the West Bank, can only be solved by reconstructing the entire area along the lines proposed by Lyndon LaRouche’s Oasis Plan. Abundant fresh water, power, high-speed rail lines, a rebuilt health and education infrastructure are all within reach. Only by getting to work on building that infrastructure can real optimism for the future be created, an optimism that {both} Israelis and Palestinians so desperately need.

To those who argue today that a political solution is needed before the economics can proceed, Lyndon LaRouche responded 35 years ago, on August 21, 1990: “For years, our proposals for economic development, have been repeatedly brushed aside, with the advice that a political settlement must come first, and then an economic cooperation for general development of the region, might become possible. We have repeatedly said, and rightly so, that that line of argument is wrong, and even dangerously absurd. The simple reason is, that without a policy of economic development, the Arabs and Israelis have no common basis for political agreement: no common interest.”

The LaRouche Oasis Plan can work – especially if the United States and China cooperate to bring it about. As a Jan. 22 lead editorial in the semi-official Chinese daily Global Times stated, reflecting thinking in Beijing: "What is certain is that as Trump begins his second presidential term, there is widespread hope for a mature and stable China-US relationship. For both countries, there is a lot of potential for various forms of cooperation; the key is whether they can meet each other halfway.... A return to rational and pragmatic policies toward China is the shared aspiration of the peoples of both China and the US."

The Oasis Plan is a good place to put that commitment into practice.

Feb. 24, 2025 (EIRNS)—Why is it in Americans’ national security interest, that President Donald Trump act to curtail the “special relationship” that presently exists between the British Imperial and Commonwealth intelligence services, and the United States military and military-intelligence? This week’s visit by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Washington, D.C., undertaken in the vain hope of re-enlisting America as the financial and logistical “backstop” for further fruitless European posturing in an already-lost war in Ukraine, is the proper time to pose to the American people this question: What exact benefit does the United States gain from its so-called “special relationship” with Great Britain? Should a swift and solemn end be brought to the British-U.S. “special relationship,” in preparation for the upcoming celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States’ Declaration of Independence? 

It is time—past time—to re-commit the United States to the original purpose of the 1776-1783 American Revolution. That was, as was clearly re-stated by President Franklin Roosevelt during World War Two to an apoplectic Winston Churchill, to remove the foot of Portuguese, Dutch, Belgian, French and British imperialism from the throat of people all over the world. Instead, the United States, founded to be the opposite of the British Empire, has, especially in the “unipolar era” from 1990 until now, been acting against the interests of the American people, and the American Revolution itself, engaging in no-win wars and overthrowing governments always in the name of democracy, but waged in reality on behalf of an international financial elite, a trans-Atlantic “War Party,” operating under the codename “NATO.” Britain’s Keir Starmer visits Washington this week on behalf of that mission, and nothing else.

The March 11 meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia between Ukrainian and American representatives, where a 30-day ceasefire was agreed to, has shifted the world’s attention yet again. But who is actually doing the shifting? Reports now abound that, after Tuesday’s agreement, "the ball is in Russia’s court." Former British Prime Minister and notorious anti-peace fanatic Boris Johnson said March 12: "The Ukrainians have proved that they can make peace. Now it is up to the Kremlin to sign up to the Trump plan—or face the consequences. If Putin refuses, we will know that he is not serious about peace and never was."


This theme was echoed by many of the worst trans-Atlantic war hawks over the course of the past two days, obsessively repeating that Putin is now cornered and must accept the ceasefire proposal dictated to Moscow. Coming on the heels of Ukraine’s enormous drone attack Monday night, which Russia labelled a terrorist attack and vowed to retaliate, as well as Russia’s historic rout in Kursk which has eliminated Ukraine’s only battlefield gains in years, this seems unlikely at best. President Putin’s visit to newly-liberated areas in Kursk on Wednesday, dressed in full military garb, is a clear message in this regard.


As Helga Zepp-LaRouche said in her weekly webcast: "[T]he only way how you can get order into this very quickly evolving situation … is to move to a completely New Paradigm: Namely, the idea that you have to have a new security and development architecture which addresses all of these problems at once, by creating a new system in which everybody has their interests taken care of. And the most for that, obviously, is the Peace of Westphalia of 1648 … where the war parties agreed on principles first, and then proceeded to hammer out the details. And I think such an approach is absolutely what is needed today.”

International Peace Coalition #93 Mar 14th – Avoiding War Requires True Statecraft, Not Just Good Intentions

The unfolding shift taking place from an imperial rules-based order to a new paradigm is to be seen in the recent 2 1/2 hour phone call between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was rightly characterized by Russian strategic analyst Fyodor Lukyanov as a sign that “real diplomacy has returned.” There is the real chance, Lukyanov noted, that there will be real negotiations, but there are two extremes to be avoided. He said, “One is the illusion that everything will be resolved quickly and painlessly, and the other is the cynical belief that any agreement is fundamentally unattainable.”

Of course, the British Empire and its European “allies” are determined to painlessly maintain the illusion that no peace agreements can be reached, and are acting right now to sabotage any normalization of relations between the U.S. and Russia. On Tuesday, the German parliament voted to uncap its budget and prepare for massive military spending to deter the supposed Russian “threat,” ignoring the fact that German voters have overwhelmingly voted against the current coalition. Today, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is convening a meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” to further the effort to put NATO “peacekeeping” troops in Ukraine.

The other tools in the British arsenal include setting off new waves of violence in Southwest Asia, where the U.S. has just begun a bombing campaign against the Houthis in Yemen, and Israel has officially broken the ceasefire agreement negotiated with Hamas and have killed over 400 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as of yesterday. In respect to Trump’s actions in Yemen, conservative political commentator Tucker Carlson has his expressed opposition, noting that “the costs of future acts of terrorism on American soil may be even higher.”

The new dynamic emerging from the Trump-Putin phone call has the potential to bring about a coalition of nations from all parts of the world, most emphatically Russia, India, China and the United States, into a new global security architecture by which conflicts can be resolved peacefully, and with no ill-will towards the other. Our initiative to end the special relationship between the British Empire and the U.S. must be pushed, along with the work of Schiller Institute Chairwoman Helga Zepp-LaRouche in bringing about a “new security and development architecture” for all nations of the world.

In discussions with international collaborators Helga Zepp-LaRouche emphasized the danger emanating from the unwillingness of the European war party to seek peace and use negotiations to bring the Russia/Ukraine conflict to an end. The “Rearm Europe” campaign to make the European nations “war ready” and deliver more heavy weapons to Ukraine is escalating, despite high-level negotiations going on between the US and Russia. 
Zepp-LaRouche said: 

“Now, very worrisome also in line with the militarization of Europe, is the fact that Germany and Great Britain, together, decided on the development of the new, long-range missile, with a range of more than 2,000 km. That has been presented by the defense ministers of both countries, British Defense Minister John Healey and German Minister Boris Pistorius; naturally 2,000-5,000 km normally is called a medium-range missile, but they are calling it a long-range missile, and obviously, this goes way beyond the Taurus; and the Taurus, this is mooted in some alternative media articles, that Merz may have already decided on the Taurus, and just not made it public.”

“ What is circulating widely is a so-called “Green Book” by the Bundeswehr, which demands a change in mentality, and it’s basically long descriptions and handbooks, how the civilian society must be pulled into military logic; the healthcare system has to be made ready to deal with 1,000 injured per day; then it has all detailed guidelines for how every household should have an emergency reserve of food, water, and electricity, first-aid courses, civil training in the schools, more money for the Red Cross and so forth and so on: It’s a complete hysteria.” 

Whereas Merz, in a television show May 15, made an attempt to play down, for the moment, the importance of the discussion about a delivery of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, news from London the same day indicated that there may be worse things on the agenda than the Taurus. The so-called Trinity House agreement signed on October 23, 2024, under German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, will be realized now under Chancellor Merz.

In an already tense strategic climate, the introduction in the U.S. by President Trump of a "Golden Dome" missile defense system increases the threat of nuclear war with Russia and China, rather than enhancing security.  Dr. Theodore Postol, who is a renowned expert on modern warfare and nuclear weapons, will discuss with Helga Zepp-LaRouche his conclusions about the danger inherent in the design of the system.

In his review of the proposal, Postol concludes that 1.)  this proposal of the Trump Administration poses an enormous danger to geopolitical stability; and 2), the second part of the Trump Administration’s proposal, which is to expand the ground-based missile defense system,  would simply increase the size of a defense system that now provably has no missile defense capability. 

However, he believes that rather than serving as a deterrent, the appearance of an expanded missile defense program might well result in the Russians and Chinese feeling compelled to expand their offense of nuclear forces to offset perceptions that the United States might have some residual capability to negate their nuclear deterrents.

When combined with the insistence of Germany's new Chancellor Merz that the limits be lifted to the range of long-range missiles provided to Ukraine, we are entering a moment of extreme instability which heightens the risk of nuclear war. 

This discussion follows last weekend's Schiller Institute conference which focused on the "LaRouche Solution" to the strategic crisis, centered around the battle to establish a new strategic and development architecture to replace the collapsing Unipolar Order.

“Germany is sliding down the same inclined plane on which it has already moved down to its collapse a couple of times in the last century. I hope that responsible politicians in that country will draw the right conclusion and stop the madness.”

Those were the sobering words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in response to a reporter’s question on May 28. Lavrov was referring to the statement made earlier in the day by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, after meeting with Ukrainian acting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin, that Germany would be financing Ukraine’s ability to produce long-range Taurus and other missiles capable of striking deep into Russian territory. Merz had a few days earlier stated, even more provocatively, that Germany would itself produce Taurus missiles and send them to Ukraine for their use.

A leading Russian military analyst responded by proposing that the factory producing the Taurus in Schrobenhausen, Bavaria be flattened “with two Oreshnik missiles carrying 12 hypersonic blocks of non-nuclear warheads, so that Germany will no longer be able to build such cruise missiles in the next five to seven years. This will first be a non-nuclear strike.”

“I’m sure that the citizens of Schrobenhausen will not be very happy to hear that,” Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche stated today, “because if they are hit by Oreshnik missiles—which cannot be stopped—that would forebode great horror not only for Schrobenhausen, but subsequently probably for all of Germany and Europe.” Zepp-LaRouche went on to issue an urgent call for the people of Schrobenhausen, and others around the world, to mobilize to stop Germany from producing or sending Taurus missiles to Ukraine, to not “slide down the same inclined plane” which led to world war 80 years ago, and which this time could bring us all to the brink of a nuclear World War III.

Although the drive for war to wipe out Russia is emanating from London and other European capitals, they don’t have the military forces, the finances, nor the industry for such a daunting job—in short, without the U.S., Europe simply can’t do it. President Trump is emphatically opposed to the war policy, and has instead sought to work things out through personal conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. But neo-cons and other “Deep State” actors in Washington are working overtime to strategically blind Trump—who seems shockingly unaware of key strategic developments, including the fact that President Putin’s helicopter was directly targeted by Ukrainian drones over the weekend.

Lavrov was very blunt about this problem as well in his press comments today. “One thing is clear: not everything is being reported to D. Trump and those who actually make decisions in connection with the Ukrainian conflict in particular. He is being given information ‘sifted through a sieve,’ prepared by those who want to draw America into more aggressive actions against Russia in support of the Ukrainian regime.” Lavrov added drily: “We will try to correct this situation with the lack of information.”

That is much required. But in addition to good strategic information, a beautiful vision for the future of humanity is needed to chart an opposite strategy, one which is premised on the fact that the development of all nations is the only lasting basis for peace and justice. Both security and development are indivisible: they either exist for all, or they exist for none.

A Pathway to Peace, Through the Bering Strait

To President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin:

When you are meeting in Alaska on August 15, the fate of humanity lies in your hands. Against all the attempts by the opponents of peace, you can not only bring the war in Ukraine to an end, and with it eliminate the Sword of Damocles of the nuclear extinction of the human species at least over this conflict, but you can also reintroduce diplomacy into the relation of the two most powerful nuclear nations on the planet.

But there is something even more elevated you can do, by not only fighting off the threats facing mankind, but by giving the whole world a beautiful vision for the future. You could agree to build a corridor across the Bering Strait, and with that rail and tunnel project unite the rail systems of Eurasia with those of the Americas. This project would open up for development the vast untapped resources of Siberia, as well as the U.S. Arctic resources of oil, gas, precious metals of all kinds, as well as fresh water. Siberia and the Russian Far East hold the largest deposits of raw materials of all the elements which one can find in Mendeleyev‘s Periodic Table, and the joint development of these resources, to which many other resource-poor countries could be invited, could become the perfect war-avoidance program and greatly enhance the prosperity of the world.

In the not so distant future, one could then travel by high-speed railroad around the world, from the most southern tips of Argentina and Chile in Ushuaia and Puerto Williams, all way through the Americas, then through the Bering Strait, across Eurasia, then with a tunnel under the Strait of Gibraltar, travel all the way through the African continent to the Cape of Good Hope.

The Bering Strait Tunnel project has been studied and promoted over decades by leading scientific and political figures in the United States, Russia and China, as is documented in the attached set of articles from EIR magazine, dating back to 2007, as well as an 8-minute video prepared by Dr. Victor Razbegin, deputy chairman of the SOPS, Russia’s Council for the Study of Productive Forces, which won the Grand Prize for Innovation at the Shanghai World Expo 2010.    

The Bering Strait Tunnel and related great infrastructure projects could also serve as the basis for further in-depth discussions among presidents Trump, Putin and China’s Xi Jinping, should President Trump be invited and agree to attend the 80th anniversary celebration of the end of World War II, to be held in China on Sept. 3 – as I have earlier proposed.

This project for integrated infrastructure of the whole world as the basis for development will lay the basis for ending war as a means of conflict resolution forever. The hope of humanity rests on you!

There is a new and different kind of world order taking shape, one of a completely different nature than the geopolitical, neocolonial system which has dominated the world for much of its history. This undeniable and unstoppable fact was apparent to all at the recently concluded United Nations General Assembly High Level Debate, at which leaders of nation after nation spoke of each country’s sovereign right to develop, of the importance of the principle of sovereign equality of nations, and of the fact that the actual composition of world power is no longer reflected in the desire of the few, the "golden billion," to dominate the interests of the many.

While to a sane and moral person, the prospect of finally ending colonialism is an incredibly optimistic one, not everyone falls into that camp. Twenty-six heads of government from the EU met in Copenhagen on Wednesday to discuss how to keep the war in Ukraine, and against Russia, going, even as more and more Ukrainians are ground up on NATO’s battlefield. Blinded by perverse ideology and oligarchical loyalty, former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace told the Warsaw Security Forum on Oct. 1 that the West must "choke the life out of Crimea," and make it "uninhabitable," even attacking the Kerch Strait Bridge, in order to make an impression upon Russian President Putin.

Provoking the largest nuclear power on the planet into a war does not bode well for the survival of humankind.

And in Southwest Asia, attention is focused on whether Hamas will accept the Gaza peace plan announced at Oct. 29’s White House press conference with Trump and Netanyahu. There is much debate about the viability and legitimacy of the plan, about whether it will actually benefit the Palestinian population, and whether Netanyahu will sabotage it; aside from the obvious need to get Sir Tony Blair, whom Helga Zepp-LaRouche called "the late-day incarnation of the British Empire, responsible for the cockpit of conflict in the Middle East in the first place," as far away from Gaza as possible, the most urgent task is not to analyze what the plan is or isn’t, but to organize to ensure that what comes about is what must be: "What we have to do is to redouble our efforts to put the Oasis Plan on the agenda," Zepp-LaRouche insisted. "Only if there is a comprehensive change, economically—development, meaning the new name for peace is development," will people in Gaza, who "are in urgent need for such a vision for the future…have any hope."

“No more killing!” That is what President Trump told acting President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in yesterday’s two-hour White House meeting. While Zelenskyy probably expected Trump to approve the use of Tomahawk missiles, which are capable of striking deep into Russia and would certainly put the U.S. and NATO in a state of direct conflict in Ukraine, Trump instead referenced the proposal of a Budapest summit between himself and Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting separate meetings be held on the sidelines with Putin and Zelenskyy.

This is just one example of the arc of development taking place in the world. We can either stick to the old imperial axioms which have dominated since President Franklin Roosevelt’s death, which will lead to the thermonuclear obliteration of all life on the planet, or, we can shift our axioms, and create the conditions for a new paradigm of coalesce in the world today.

In another area of the world, Southwest Asia, the peace deal between Hamas and Israel, while tenuous by itself, has opened up a new path for diplomacy and economic development which can lead to a reconciliation between both sides. That potential exists with Lyndon LaRouche’s 1975 Oasis Plan, which envisions joint development in water desalination and other infrastructure, to make the deserts bloom, and integrate the region from India to the Mediterranean, from the Caucasus to the Persian Gulf, as one development area. The feasibility of implementing such an ambitious undertaking—though unconventional according to linear political thinking—is real, according to Dr. Manuel Hassassian, the ambassador from the Palestinian Authority to Denmark, in an interview with Helga Zepp-LaRouche. In the dialogue, he said to Helga:

“On several occasions, I boosted the Oasis Plan as a prelude to economic development towards infrastructural development. I think this is a recipe which is ready for international donors and stakeholders to use in the process of the national reconstruction and the infrastructural development of Gaza. I think this is the time to market the Oasis Plan, to be factored in by those who are going to be involved in the reconstruction of Gaza.... The Oasis Plan now is becoming more and more visible to stakeholders to factor in [to] any process of development.”

A new approach to diplomacy, which is non-linear and creative, as proposed by President Vladimir Putin at the recent Valdai Club meeting this month, is needed to implement such proposals. Only a transcendental shift in the thinking of citizens can result in such a revolutionary approach to statecraft.

On October 28 I visited the site of the newly restored Albert Pike statue at Judiciary Square in Washington, D.C.  The stature of the KKK founder and judicial officer, Confederate General Pike had been torn down by vandals in June of 2020, coincident with Black Lives Matter protests which erupted after George Floyd was killed a few weeks earlier.

“The content of policy is the method by which it is made.” That was the idea of statecraft espoused by Lyndon LaRouche, founder of Executive Intelligence Review and co-founder of the Schiller Institute. The question of method in statecraft was the topic of a two-day-plus conference just concluded by the Schiller Institute in Paris. The conference, led by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, founder of the Schiller Institute, and by Jacques Cheminade, former French Presidential candidate and president of Solidarité et Progrès (Solidarity and Progress), was titled “Emancipation of Africa and the Global Majority, A Challenge for Europe.” 

Why, despite the increasing potential for thermonuclear war between NATO and Russia; despite the mounting panic regarding the looming financial meltdown of the hopelessly bankrupt trans-Atlantic system; despite the depopulation of Gaza, and the destruction ongoing in Sudan and several other locations—why was it the self-development of the African continent which was chosen in Paris as the focus of deliberation for the international participants, many of them young people, including from several African nations?

To understand this, contrast two speeches given on Nov. 9. One was by the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The other was by Schiller Institute founder and chairwoman, Helga Zepp-LaRouche. Under the guise of commemorating “the significance of the date Nov. 9 in German history—in 1918 (abdication of German Kaiser and proclamation of the Weimar Republic), 1938 (beginning of the Kristallnacht/"Night of the Broken Glass” violence against Germany’s Jewish population and their various establishments), and 1989 (fall of the Berlin Wall), German President Steinmeier chose to stoke fear, claiming that there had been a rise of antisemitism since the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. His remarks led to calls for constitutional bans on emerging German political parties and other forms of censorship—the politics of fear.

Fortunately for current history, there are people that actually understand the role of the Classical artist in universal history, and therefore the role of poet Friedrich Schiller in Germany—including in the events of Nov. 9, 1989. Instead of the politics of fear, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, speaking to an audience in Paris, invoked the life, the work and living presence of the poet Friedrich Schiller.

“I can only advise you to read Schiller. Schiller, apart from LaRouche and Cusa and Plato and some others, but Schiller is one of the most important, because he came to the conclusion that in his time, people were already barbaric. He said, why is it that we are still barbarians? He said the most important task of our time—meaning his time—is to develop the Empfindungsvermögen. I have never found a good English translation, because if you just say ‘compassion,’ or ‘empathy,’ it does not quite capture it. What Schiller meant with Empfindungsvermögen is that you have to be able to educate your soul and your mind in such a way that you are able to absorb the world in an all-encompassing manner and feel compassion with the whole world; which means everything. It doesn’t just mean pity or empathy with people who are suffering; it also means to be able to always take in whatever is happening in the world, in your heart and your mind. It’s still not capturing it entirely, but it’s larger than the word empathy.…”

This is the idea that must immediately become the basis and the method of international policy. This is the soul of the idea of “promoting the General Welfare” contained in the United States Constitution’s Preamble.

The Caribbean/Venezuela situation is extremely worrying. The worst since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. There is no reason for the military buildup other than the overthrow of Maduro. When overwhelming military assets are gathered, it becomes more than likely it will be used. A group of former leaders of Caricom, incuding Ramotar, issued a statement a week ago demanding the Caribbean remain a zone of peace.

We are descending internationally into the law of the jungle. The U.S. fears the BRI, which the nations of the South find attractive because China actually build things. The U.S. views this as a threat, but they should not fear it. China targets no one. The U.S. can and should cooperate with the BRI.

The U.S. has great potential historically for doing good. Xi Jinping’s policy coincides with the LaRouche proposals, they have the same intention of North-South cooperation. The interview ends with a warning about the danger of nuclear war, and an endorsement of EIR as a source of vital intelligence.

Dr. Gershon Baskin: Key Backchannel Negotiator Peace Plan Requires Large-Scale Development

The year 2026 has opened with a literal bang. The U.S. military, under President Trump’s orders, attacked the sovereign nation of Venezuela and captured its democratically elected President, Nicholas Maduro, along with his wife, flying them out of the country.

Statements from Russia, Brazil, and Mexico have already been issued, condemning the attack and insisting that further escalation be prevented. They recommended focusing on a way out of the situation through dialogue. Brazilian President Lula said the attack “crosses the line of what is unacceptable. These acts represent a very
serious affront to Venezuela's sovereignty and set another extremely dangerous precedent for the international community.”

”Attacking countries in flagrant violation of international law,” he continued “is the first step toward a world of violence, chaos, and instability, where the law of the strongest prevails over multilateralism.”

This illegal attack follows the just-thwarted attempt by Ukraine, or NATO forces acting in the form of Ukraine, to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin at his residence on the evening of Dec. 29th. The situation has been further compounded by the New Year’s Eve drone attack on a Russian cafe in Kherson, in which at least 28 civilians were killed, and many more wounded. British intelligence agencies, who want nothing more than to derail the nascent attempt at diplomacy underway by the Trump Administration with Russia, are pumping the narrative that President Putin lied about the attack to justify Russia’s war on Ukraine—a ridiculous falsehood on the face of it.

Add to this the mad attempt to install advanced tactical nuclear weapon systems in Germany and Europe, in preparation for "defense" in a future war with Russia, and you have the short term makings for a thermonuclear World War III. As the world descends into the law of the jungle, the ever-clearer reality of the disintegration of the trans-Atlantic financial system, now being pumped with worthless cryptocurrencies and speculative investments in artificial intelligence (AI), is causing these warmongers to become desperate and resort to insane tactics – like kidnapping presidents to dismantle nations – in order to keep the system afloat.

The outlook of Helga Zepp-LaRouche, demands that 2026 must become the year where nations seize upon her idea of a new security and development architecture for the world, overcoming 500 years of colonialism, and reorganizing the bankrupt financial system through a Global Glass-Steagall bill.
