Dear participants,

This year, Lumina Institutions of Education will organize the ^th edition of the LuminaMath national mathematics competition. As every year, we want to continue the tradition started more than years ago and we invite you to join us in our endeavors. This year's edition will also be held free of charge, for students of grades II-VIII and will have a different format than last year: the Online Stage held as only one stage, and the Written Stage. For all of this year's entry details, please refer to the Official Contest Rules at: luminamath.org/en/Statute.

There are also a few changes we've made to this year's edition that we ask you to consider before entering the contest.

1. The subjects will be translated into Hungarian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Russian only for the written stage.

2. In the Registration section, you will have to read and agree to some conditions for this year's contest: "For the organizing of the Written Stage of the LuminaMath contest on the 14^th of December, 2025, the Lumina Educational Institutions Foundation needs the support of each and every county school inspectorate. The county school inspectorate is the one that provides LuminaMath competitors with the examination center in each county and the supervising teachers necessary for the smooth running of the competition. If there are counties unable to make these exam centers available, for various reasons, unfortunately, the competitors qualified for the Written Stage from that county will not be able to take the final exam. Lumina Educational Institutions will make every effort to cover, together with the county school inspectorates, as large an examination area as possible. If this is not possible, Lumina Educational Institutions does not take responsibility for the impossibility of holding the Written Stage in the respective county. In other words, by accepting this disclaimer, you understand and accept that it is possible for the written stage of the LuminaMath contest not to take place in your county, and you agree to register and participate in the online stage only, under these conditions.”
