As for the good results of my last tutorial I bring you another one! Wooohooo! :D This time we will be turning this into this . For PS CS2 involving Selective colors, Color Balance and Curves so I think it's probably not translatable, but you can always try, trying it's funny.

1. Choose your image. Mine will be this beautiful Tyra cap of Friday Night Lights. I capped it my own.

2. Play with the image. I resized it, then cropped until I liked it.

3. To make your base lighter duplicate (Ctrl + J) the image the times you need (I needed 3 times) and set them all to Screen 100%. Merge them all (Ctrl + E).

4. Add a new Hue/Saturation layer (Layer -> New adjustment layer -> Hue/Saturation) Up the "master" saturation to +30.

5. New curves layer (Layer -> New adjustment layer -> Curves).
RGB. First point. Input: 84 Output:103

6. New Color Balance layer (Layer -> New adjustment layer -> Color balance). Put this layer to soft light 40%.
Midtones: +17 0 -22
Shadows: -14 0 -22
Highlights: -9 0 -20

>>

7. Duplicate de Color Balance layer, and set it to normal 100%.

8. Another curves layer (Layer -> New adjustment layer -> Curves).
BLUE. First point. Input: 75 Output: 73
Second point. Input: 184 Output: 202

9. Duplicate (ctrl + J) the base layer, and drag it to the top. Add Gaussian Blur (Filter -> blur -> Gaussian blur) radius 1,0. Set it to soft light 100%.

10. New selective color layer (Layer -> New adjustment layer -> Selective colors). This serves to emphasize the colors on Tyra's face.

1. Elige tu imagen. La mía será esta bella captura de Tyra en Friday Night Lights. La captura la hice yo misma.

2. Juega con tu imagen. Yo la he redimensionado y la he colocado como me gustaba.

3. Para hacer que tu base sea más clara, duplica (ctrl + J) la base las veces que necesites (yo he necesitado hacerlo 3 veces) y ponlas todas en Trama 100%. Únelas todas mediante Ctrl + E.

9. Duplicar (ctrl + J) la base, y subirla arriba del todo. Desenfocar la capa mediante el desenfoque gaussiano, radio 1,0, y ponerla en Luz Suave 100%.

Help! I have done it, again.

So, I have this little thing with layouts. I never, and I mean NEVER, like them. That's why I'm always changing it. Ok, I'm lying. I like them before I post them, but when I do post them, I dislike everyone of them in a few minutes.
Now, I like my new layout (lu_thien lu_thien) but wait, like, two minutes, and I'll be all: OMG.IT.CAN'T.BE.SO.FUGLY. (Actually, I'm am thinking on a new lay about Paris Je T'aime, I saw that movie yesterday and man, I LOVED IT. Go to see it NOW, it's an order).

I've also made the resources post I was talking about in the last entry. It is listed there, in the links section (<--- at the sidebar). It's not THE resources post, but I pretend to update it regularly.

And that's all folks, I'm experiencing with PS, so you'll probably get an entry with a new batch of shinny and bright icons sooner or later. Ciao!

Tutorial Time

One tutorial (in English and Spanish).

Make this into this in six easy steps. Made with PS CS2, involving selective colors.

Hey! So beautdisastr asked about my coloring and I've decided to make a tutorial of it, since I'm bored and I have plenty of free time. I know this isn't the exact coloring (I hadn't saved the .psd files, blame me XD) but it's closer. It is very simple to follow, so let's get the party started:

1. First off, choose your image, mine will be this wonderful cap of Veronica Mars (credit goes to VM Caps)

2. Then, play with the base util you get what you want, I have just resized and cropped it.

3. On the next step, duplicate (ctrl + J) your base the times you need to make it lighter (I needed 4) and set them to screen 100%. Merge them all (shift + ctrl + E). (With that step you'll see the nice colors the image has, just hidden)

4. Add a new layer, fill it with #FFFC00 and set it to soft light 100%

5. New selective color layer (layer -> new adjustment layer -> Selective color). Settings:

REDS

C: -100
M: 0
Y: +100
B: +50

YELLOWS

C: 0
M: 0
Y: -50
B: 0

NEUTRALS

C: +70
M: 0
Y: -40
B: +25

6. New Hue/Saturation layer (Layer -> New adjustment layer -> Hue/Saturation). Up the saturation to +15. And, you're done!

Hola! Resulta que beautdisastr preguntó acerca de mi coloring y entonces he decidido hacer un tutorial para enseñarlo, ya que estoy muuy aburrida y tengo bastante tiempo libre. Sé que no es exactamente el mismo resultado (no salvé el archivo .psd, tooonta de mi XD) pero es parecido. Es muy fácil de seguir, así que empecemos:

1. Primero, elegid una imagen, la mía será esta captura de Veronica Mars (crédito VM Caps)

2. Ahora jugad con vuestra base hasta que consigais lo que querais, yo simplemente la he redimensionado y la he recortado un poco a mi gusto.

3. En el siguiente paso, duplicad la base (ctrl + J) las veces que sea necesario para que quede iluminada y ponedlas en trama 100%. Unidlas todas mediante shift + ctrl + E. (Con este paso conseguimos ver los bonitos colores que tiene la imagen, que simplemente están escondidos bajo tanta oscuridad)

¡Bienvenidos a mi nuevo y mejorado Elejota (Entrad a verlo! lu_thien)! A partir de ahora esto va a cambiar. Aquí ya no habrá más entradas personales, sino que he decidido dar salida a mis cositas photoshopicas, porque estoy harta de hacerlas y que se queden escondidas en alguna carpetilla del Pc, así que aquí que vengo con cositas. Sé que no son gran cosa, y que son poquitas, pero eh! Es la inaguración. El photoshop es mi amigo y me relaja, y con mi estrés de los examenes que me quedan, pues hago muchas cosas, así que.... bueno, las dejo aquí. Comentad please!
