Newly Hired Employees

All newly hired employees shall have on file a medical certificate indicating freedom from communicable diseases, including tuberculosis.

All newly hired employees must show that they have been examined within the past 60 days to determine that they are free from active tuberculosis, and every four years thereafter.

The District, within 10 working days of date of employment, shall require each person to be employed, or employed in, a position to have two Live Scan fingerprint cards bearing the legible rolled and flat impressions of that person's fingerprints together with a personal description of the applicant or employee, as the case may be, prepared by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department having jurisdiction in the area of the District.
