Welcome, everyone.

I'm Cube and I work as a medic here, mostly, but also help run Cafe Alpha in Discedo. If you're in need of medical attention, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I'd suggest finding shelter as soon as possible. I'm keeping Cafe Alpha open this evening for anyone arriving who needs something to keep themselves warm. First cup of coffee or tea is on the house. So, please stop by.

But don't walk outside alone, specially unarmed. Fortun is a dangerous place, and I wouldn't wish for anyone to place themselves in harms way simply for a cup of tea.

I have quite a few announcements to make today. So, I hope I can keep your attention.

Cafe Alpha has been closed for some time now. Even without so many troubles happening recently, I still haven't enough help to keep it open regularly. I'm not asking for much of anyone's time, just a few hours. It's a good way to learn something new or meet new people. I'm willing to train anyone who hasn't much experience in tea, coffee, and baking. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you as soon as possible.

On another note, I'm been thinking of traveling back and forth between Discedo and Spero on a regular basis in case there are any in Spero who need medical assistance. I'd also like to get the hospital in Spero clean and in working condition somehow, or at least set up a clinic elsewhere. Though, I honestly am not sure where, exactly.

Although not needed as frequently as before, there is still a demand for blood donations. Any donors would be highly appreciated. If needed, I'll be happy to prepare a meal for your time.

Due to recent events, there hasn't been a time to properly ask everyone again to fill out a medical records form. If you're new or haven't heard of them, I advise you to please take a few moments and read below. It could save your life in case of an emergency.

What are medical records?
     The medical records are simple forms filled out by residents to document their medical state and needs such as name, blood type, species, and previous medical history.
     If you are unable to read or write, you may receive assistance filling out a form by stopping by the hospital or contacting me over the network and I'll document things for you.

Why should I fill it out?
     In the state of emergency, a medical record on file can be accessed and with it, can speed up assistance to patients. It's in your best interests to fill the form out truthfully in case you're brought in unconscious or are unable to communicate. Also, if you have a specific medical need or even a rare blood type, medical personnel can keep a look out for supplies available for proper treatment, if needed.

What about my privacy?
     Your medical record will be stored in an undisclosed location and only accessed and shared by medical personnel when needed. These records are not open the the general public. All records filled electronically will be locked until transferred securely.
     Should security of the records be breached, measures will be taken to secure and/or relocate all information as soon as possible. The party responsible for breaching security will be apprehended and harshly dealt with, no exceptions.

How do I update my information?
Simply fill out the form once more with all your updated information and it'll be documented.

Important things first. I'll be taking a short break and traveling to Dissimulo with Shinjiro soon. This means both Cafe Alpha and The Northern Lights bar will be closed for the duration of our absence.

When I return, I'd like to begin accepting help to run Cafe Alpha. I don't mind training but it would be preferred if one knows something about baking, coffee, and/or tea. If you have time and believe you may enjoy working there, please inquire.

Before leaving, I'll be stopping by the hospital in Discedo to see what has changed. I'm sorry I've been absent for so long. I look forward to meeting everyone in person. If anyone needs medical assistance in Spero while I'm away, please contact me immediately.

A lot has been happening lately, and I apologize for my inability to assist with many issues due to my slow recovery in Spero. A few months ago, Dr. Cuddy was sent home and hasn't, to my knowledge, returned. So, I'll be keeping up with the medical records. I'll be keeping with her format and timing, meaning that I'll be reminding everyone about these medical records every month from now on.

I'd like for everyone to fill out this new form, even if you are planning to not return to Discedo. It's for your own benefit should an emergency happen.

I'd like to make an announcement. In a previous post I had stated I was going to charge for medical assistance, including chip removals, and allow people to disregard any medical paperwork. Unaware to most, it was not actually I who made these claims.

There will never be a charge for medical attention or for chip removals under my supervision. I apologize for any issues this brings up and will address concerns on a case-to-case basis. If you did indeed make a deal with the one posing as me, then please advise me of so and I'll do by best to return any property of yours or something sufficient in case it was not something that can be physically returned.

I'm truly sorry to those who were harassed and humiliated. Some of the incidents I'm aware of, while others I may not. Either way, I assure you I will do what I can to prevent such an event from ever happening again.

It wasn't easy but I've finally prepared a space to start removing chips again!

Things will be a little different this time but for better! For right now, anyone wishing for their chip removed can do so without having to fill out any forms. It's great, don't you agree? I will ask that in place of the forms, that you bring something to trade, instead. It can be anything but I do prefer something gold, specially coins. If you don't have any gold, we can work something else out, okay?

[Cube comes on screen, he fumbles with a strange cane/flute with red wings surrounding what appears to be an eyeball on the end for a bit. His voice has a nervous edge to it.]

Ah, Gakupo-san... I-I think I'm ready t-to play. I hope you and others enjoy it. I-I've not played for very long, but I hope it will be alright.

[The small demon brings the flute to his lips and pauses just before playing a rather sad-sounding tune. He continues this way for a while, a note here or there is a bit off key but for the most part he seems to play it alright. Cube's face looks more and more frustrated as he concentrates on playing. He repeats the main of the song twice before the feed cuts itself off.]

I'm not sure if it's of any interest to anyone but I've come across some interesting notes left here, at the Spero Hospital. Quite a few all speak of the Atropos virus. What's interesting is these notes label it as "incurable." The notes continue to list symptoms but the cause is always pointed towards Discedo, stating that they believe the fish and other imports from Discedo carried the virus but it's uncertain.

It sounds as though this world has dealt with this virus for some time. I'm beginning to wonder what exactly went on and if this sparked a conflict between Discedo and the rest of Fortuna.

Has anyone else found interesting information like this as well? I know I've missed a bit but it might be within our best interests to document everything all together, somehow.

I also have a request for those in Spero. I'm in need of a blood donors. I'm looking for someone to donate as soon as possible, but also any one else I may call on for later, in case of an emergency, would also be also appreciated.

Aside form that, should anyone in Spero need medical attention, please contact me.

It's hard to believe that a little more than two years have gone by since I Arrived here, in Discedo. To think that I'd had just met Doctor Yagokoro and began studying under her a few days from now, two years ago. All the people I've met and all the dangers we've faced in just two years. I can't say they've been the happiest years of my life but they certianly have kept me on my toes. It's almost amusing how quickly I've adapted to this place as my new home. I'm not sure if being a butler helped with that or if it's something else but I'm glad to say I've made a home for myself here and despite what has happened, I'm glad to still be here. I've been given chances here that i never would have been given. Opportunities to learn and grow that even after two hundred years I don't believe I could have come close to what I now know and appreciate.

I sometimes wonder what reason it is to have kept me here for so long in contrast to others. I remember being sent home only to come back as if nothing had changed. I remember worrying over who i was and what would happen to me and, of course, to all those I had to leave behind. Still, I'm glad for whatever reason I'm still here. I'm not without my regrets but I do hope that the next years to come will be just as memorable as the last two.

First, I'd like to send a sincere apology to everyone harmed in the recent events involving Tatsumi's chip removal. I understand sorry doesn't actually fix anything. However, I'm doing all I can to tend to the wounded/ill and correct procedures, and lack there of, that have lead to this situation due to my lack of responsibility

To avoid any similar events from taking place, I'm changing the procedure in which I screen and accept chip removal requests. Starting immediately, all applicants who fill out my chip removal form must respond to any questions themselves and not through a third party. Secondly, all applicants will be thoroughly examined and researched to the best of my abilities. This may include, but not limited to; pulling any medical records available, speaking with designated emergency contact, filtering through applicant's previous communications across the network. Personal opinions will not be sufficient in research.

I'd like to also take this time to remind residents about blood donations. Since the recent fluctuation of residents, the hospital has lost almost all it's donors and we're already nearly out of reserves. Although this may not mean much to you, someone else in the city is going to suffer. To help prevent suffering and other problems, I ask that you consider donating blood, no matter what race or species you happen to be. There are a few recently who could not be treated properly due to the lack of blood available. Please, please, take the time to donate. It really does save lives. Someday, it might even save you.

The staff at the hospital is also suffering. Although we have knowledgeable staff, anyone who can assist us would be greatly appreciated. No medical experience is required as I'm sure we'll be more than happy to teach you the basics while you're here.

[The video starts off showing a white rabbit sitting on a pillow. It sniffs about and starts trying to dig into it, like this.

This lasts for a good 10-20 seconds before a smaller bunny pops it's head into the corner of the screen. It hops over and investigates while ANOTHER one joins and another.... Soon, they're all imitating the larger rabbit and attempting to burrow into the pillow... with no success.

They continue to try and try for another 30-40 seconds before a light chuckle can be heard and Cube picks up the communicator.]

They seem very adamant on burrowing there, don't they?

[He turns the video towards him and smiles]

Japan-san, do you have room for a little bunny? Flandre-chan and I woke to quite a few of them and I'm afraid I don't have enough time to pay them all the attention they deserve... would you care for one?

[With that, Cube looks back to the rabbits, some of the smaller ones have started to sleep against the larger white rabbit... causing the whole burrowing plan to halt for the moment.]

✪ Orbs! Seeking the link between faces! ✪ [Accidental Video]

[The screen lights up and takes a moment to focus due to the strange bright glow for this time of night. Cube's face is outlined by an arrangement of glowing orbs in front of his face. Some are brighter than others and there does seem to be one that shines more than any of the others. It may be hard to see but when he touches the orbs, a ghostly image appears next to it. Soon, all the orbs have images next to them. Images of people's faces.

People Flandre has met.

Unaware of the recording transmission, Cube's tired face searches over each one, putting aside a few he doesn't recognize or is suspicious of. The brightest one gets pushed to the other side, Cirno's face chasing alongside of it as it's moved.

Cube arranges and rearranges the orbs, sighing every once in a while as if trying to solve a puzzle. The communicator eventually times itself back out as if it were bored with the scene.]

((ooc: Only people Flandre has developed CR with will show up as an orb, not just one-time acquaintances. This goes for anyone who has made an impact on Flandre as well. [Black boots pass by the screen. You can hear Cube speaking softly for a moment or two.]

That's a good girl. You shouldn't run off like that. There are lots of scary things that would want to eat you...

[Now he notices the communicator and picks it up. There is not one but two rabbits in his arms]

[He goes to turn it off before a thought crosses his mind and his smile fades, turning to look more concerned.]

I know there have been quite a few new faces at the Hospital. I'm sorry I haven't personally introduced myself. I'm Cube and I welcome and thank you for your assistance with improving the health of this city. I normally work from mid afternoon until late in the evening at the hospital every day of the week.

I've already discussed this with a few interested, but it's in my, and possibly everyone's, best interests to know if there are any others with medical background who are willing to learn the Chip Removal Operation Process. I'd feel more comfortable if I could train at least one other person, in case the event arises that I'm sent home and do not return.

Anyone seeking to have their chip removed may request a hearing with me by filling out this form. I have revised it slightly but if there is any confusion, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Also, I'm in need of some assistance with setting up weekly supply runs for Cafe Alpha. They have been sporadic in the past, but I believe scheduling them for a regular basis will be required from now on. Anyone who wishes to assist, please contact me. Discedo, if I could ask you for a few moments of your time please:

Some of you may know already but Dr. Chopper's frequency is no longer reachable. As possible as it is for his return, I'm still concerned that if he doesn't return, and I am taken away, there will be no one left to remove chips. So, I ask that anyone with any sort of medical experience to please contact me either over the communicators or in person about learning the process. I won't be teaching just anyone, due to the risks involved, so please do not be offended if you're turned away.

On another note, I admit I have been neglecting this for a few weeks now but Cafe Alpha is in need of help. With both Alpha and Minagawa gone, the Cafe isn't left with much staff and I fear our employees are running themselves thin.

You don't need any prior cafe or cooking experience to apply. Simply contact me and I'll be more than happy to speak with you about positions. We're looking for any hours, so please don't be shy.

I'm glad to see things decorated. It's been much too long since I've seen anything like this. I'd like to remind everyone that there are still cookies at the Cafe to be decorated as you please. They'd make a nice gift if you haven't one to give!

On another note, I'd like to announce that starting the first of the year, I'm offering my services in removing chips. Thanks to Chopper, I'll be able to perform the procedure by myself. This should help distribute some of the work at the hospital in regards to chip removals. If you're interested, please contact me.

I don't expect most the things listed here but anything would be appreciated if you're truly going to go through with the lists. I thank you for decorating the whole city so well this year. If you'll be stopping by personally to deliver gifts, please help yourself to the cookies that will be laid out for "Santa." I'm sorry but there won't be any milk, just some water, though.

[A clattering sound starts this lovely video off to a good start. You can see Cube running away from the crooked view, down a narrow hallway]

Ah! Wait!

[Now, you can witness an angry broom, followed by a mop, trail after him]

Stop! That isn't--

[Hear that? It's the beautiful thumping sound of a body hitting a wall and then a floor, only to be proceeded by more thudding]

Oof! ah! Stop! I'm not trash!

[And he is tumbling across the screen now where the communicator gets knocked into a different direction and remains still as viewers can hear him being brushed off, quite literally.]

[Cube is staring at a piece of ripped-out notebook paper blankly. His face is pale of much color and he looks very tired. He continues to be zoned-out for a moment before his gaze lists and the communicator he is holding.]

The hydro-plant is going well... despite the fires in the city recently...

uh... there are cookies to decorate at the cafe and...

[He squints and stares at the paper for a moment or two... or three... oh, wait. He seems to ahve forgotten what he was saying and blinks at his notes, not able to come out of his daze]

I'm sorry for not coming to work today.

[He simply lets go of the communicator, it's view showing the cracked ceiling. There are a few small shuffle sounds of paper but the feed eventually ties out on it's own.]
