We’re Headed to Litquake 2025!
Bay Area: Listeners, come join us at Mrs. Dalloway's on Oct. 14
Hi, Friends,
Exciting news — Amy and I are taking Lost Ladies of Lit on the road! We’ll be part of Litquake 2025 in Berkeley, joining the “Scribbling Women” Strike Back panel at Mrs. Dalloway’s on Oct. 14.
This event brings together an incredible lineup of women — including three former Lost Ladies of Lit guests — who share our obsession with shining a light on women’s voices. Together, we’ll explore how this work takes shape through podcasting, publishing, biography, and even a popular bookstore dedicated to women’s writing.
Here’s who’s joining us:
• Iris Jamahl Dunkle (on Sanora Babb)
• Jessi Haley of Cita Press (reissuing lost works by women)
• Mimi Pond (on the Mitford sisters)
• Emily Van Duyne (on Sylvia Plath)
•Jessica Ferri (of The Womb House Books Review)
We’ll talk about how each of us is working to recover forgotten voices — and we’ll share ideas for how you can join the effort.
When: Oct. 14, 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Mrs. Dalloway’s, Berkeley
RSVP
If you’re in the Bay Area, we’d love to see you there! And if you have a friend nearby who loves books and forgotten literary history, forward this along.
Here’s to rewriting history together — one lost lady at a time.
Thank you, as always, for listening!
Kim (& Amy)

Can’t wait!
