BEST MOMENTS THROUGHOUT 7 SEASONS OF BUFFY, THE VAMPIRE SLAYER

I've seen call_me_daisy do this couple of times in her journal, and I think it was a brilliant idea. I liked reading those entries, even though I hadn't even watched the shows. Because, she had picked the best moments, so it was nice to see what kind of moments they were. And I though that it would be nice to think what moment I liked best in my favorite shows. What really had gotten into me. And from BtVS, they are these:

1x12 PROPHECY GIRL

Giles: Buffy, if the Master rises...

Greetings from France! I had a brilliant time there, the place is just gorgeous. I took very very very much pictures, because I just couldn't not take them. Everywhere I turned it was just.. "gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous have to take a picture" etc. Southern France is a freaking beautiful place, I'm telling you. And Monaco. Oh, Monaco pretty much stole my heart ♥

Some these pictures don't show, because they are hosted in my domain, which just expired. I'll upload the rest of them to photobucket as soon as I can.

2ND OF JULY - ST RAPHAËL & "HOME"

As soon as I woke up, I had to take picture of the place we lived in. Because, whoa. It was great. I had my own balcony & bathroom even. And we practically had our own pool, because the other people didn't use it that much. (In the first picture: Siiri & Paavo, my siblings)

We were in some kind of sunday market in the morning with my mother and I was just so amazed of how much these peoples lives differ from mine. The place looked like it was build in the middle ages and they were selling hand made products, like soap & oils etc. The people hang their wet clothes to dry from their windows, and I found this really adorable. It looked so pretty in someway, when everyones clothes were hanging from their windows. And the windows itself were kind of pretty as well.

3RD OF JULY - GRIMAUD & ST. TROPEZ

A little village called Grimaud. It was like a little world of it's own, with the tiny allies, and the flowers and the houses. I'm not much for little places, but I'd move there in an instant if I had the chance.

St. Tropez. There we're dozens of gorgeous yachts of the rich and famous.

These, ladies and gentleman, are the children of Pamela Anderson. I didn't see Anderson herself, but her children were in the deck quite a while. They were majorly cute. And this is pretty cool, because these pictures are from the same day, place and time as mine. And just shut up of the quality of the picture, okay? I'm gonna be a great paparazzi one day. XD

4TH OF JULY - CANNES

Cannes was one of the best places I visited. There was so much all this movie stuff, like in this cafe. I would've wanted to sit in the Monroe chair, but the table was taken. Boulevard de la Croisette was gorgeous, but of course I didn't have the money to buy anything from the shops (Chanel, Gucci, Fendi etc etc). I had to go to the back streets where I could afford something XD I bought a poster of Cannes' film festival advertisement from the year 2000, it's pretty cool.

In the evening, my moms husbands brother took us to dinner because it was her wives 50th birthday. It was the finest restaurant in Cannes, and it had 2 Michelin stars ("excellent cooking, worth a detour"). The food was way too fancy for me, but the experience itself was great. The best thing was, that when I was going to the bathroom, the boss of the place turned, walked before me to the bathroom, and opened the door to me. I just smiled stupidly and said "merci".

5TH OF JULY - STE. MAXIME

In the day, we were just swimming in Ste. Maxime, but in the evening we were watching THE match from screen in some bar. It was so cool. The French went CRAZY after France won, they started dancing & jumping on the tables, firing fireworks etc. I have never regretted so much that I didn't have my camera with me, because that definitely was worth photographing.

6TH OF JULY - MONACO & NICE

The best day in the whole trip. Seriosly, Monaco. Just, yeah. ♥ Anyway, this is taken from the car. There were France flags everywhere in the following morning of the game.

From call_me_daisy, thank you! Changed the number of shows from 15 to 10.

1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - In every generation, there is a chosen one.

Why should you watch it: BtVS is the most genius show ever done, and I really mean it. The actors are absolutely amazing, and the dialogue is best ever written. I still amaze the shows capability to make a heartbreaking episode, but still include some very funny parts in it, so it doesn't feel too depressing. The balance is incredible, like everything in this show. Joss Whedon is God.
Favorite character: Spike.
Favourite ship: Uhm, this is really hard to decide, but I guess I'm going with Drusilla/Spike, because they are the reason why I love season two so much. Spike and Drusilla are like the king & queen of the "vampireworld"

2. Angel the Series - Live fast. Die never.

Why should you watch it: Basically the same reasons as BtVS, the man behind this is again Joss Whedon. Angel is not as good as Buffy, but really close anyway.
Favorite character: Darla, absolutely. She's my favourite character from both Angel & Buffy, but I thought I'd say it in this, because she hasn't been in so many episodes of BtVS. I love Darla because she so many layers, and Julie Benz just does an amazing job playing her. I love Darla so much when she's evil, but the thing that makes her such an awesome character , is that I still love her when she has a soul or when she's human. She's simply the perfect character, and definitely my favourite from the whole history of TV-series & movies.
Favourite ship: Darla/Angel(us). Most of all, I love when Darla is with Angelus, because together they make such a vicious couple, but still they care about each other. Or at least Darla seems to really love Angelus/Angel.

3. Veronica Mars - Veronica Mars, she's a marshmallow.

Why should you watch it: This show reminds me so much of Buffy; the witty dialogue and a great plot. You never know what is going to happen, because this show sure isn't predictable.
Favorite character: Logan. I love him, because inside that rich, jackass cover there is a sensitive and funny character. He's incredibly witty, I love to quote him.
Favourite ship: Logan/Veronica ♥

Alias - I'm a double agent for the CIA, and I will be until SD-6 is gone.

Why should you watch it: The first three seasons are so good, and the plot turns are so unexpectable and the acting is great. And plus, there's Sark, which is good enough reason to watch Alias.
Favorite character: Mr. Julian Sark.The accent, the attitude, everything. Plus, his loyalties are flexible, so you never know who's side is he on ;>
Favourite ship: This is a tough one, because I like to read Sark/Sydney, but I really love watching Sark/Lauren on screen, so I guess that'd be my answer.

5. Lost - Everything Happens for a Reason

Why should you watch it: Feel free to say I told you so. I really love this show now, although the pilot was crappy. But after that, I think Lost has developed into a really great tv-show, and it really is almost as good as J.J. Abrams' another show, Alias. But not quite yet. But yeah, I've really gotten hooked on this show (I've watched 28 episodes on the last three days. Yep).
Favorite character: Sawyer, absolutely. I think he is a very fascinating character, because most people think his a heartless bastard, but as the episodes come, you can really see that there is also vulnerable person inside of him. And the whole nickname thing is so funny.
Favorite ship: Sawyer/Kate

6. The O.C.

Why should you watch it: The plot isn't so good in this show, but I think the characters and the dialogue make up for it. This maybe isn't the most genius show in the world, but it's entertaining, funny and I just like it pretty much.
Favorite character: Alex
Favorite ship: Marissa/Alex. I don't like Marissa at all, but when she's with Alex, she's actually bearable. Alex shows more sensitive side of herself when she's with Marissa, and I think they just are perfect for each other.

7. Charmed

Why should you watch it: Seasons 1-3 are so good, because there was a fresh and good story in every episode, and the original cast were still playing. From the start of season 5 Charmed has gotten worse, but there's still the same witty dialogue, and the funny & awesome characters.
Favorite character: Prue, definitely. I completely loved her, and if she wouldn't have died, Charmed would still probably be somewhere on the top of this list. I loved her stubborness and wittiness, and the vulnerability under the shell.I cried so much when she died, and I miss the effect she has on Charmed.
Favorite ship: Phoebe/Cole

8. Desperate Housewives

Why should you watch it: Because it's just so funny, and the characters are so unique. There hasn't been a boring episode yet.

Favorite ship: Susan/Mike

9. Footballers' wives

Why should you watch it: Because almost every character in this show is twisted in some way. It's great. Oh yeah, and you can't resist the brittish accent! ♥
Favorite character: Tanya. Without her the show would be boring.
Favorite ship: Tanya/Jason. I know Jason was an ass, but I think he was a good match for Tanya, and it's a shame that he died.

10. The L Word

Why should you watch it: It tells a story about unusual but very interesting subject. And it tells it very well.

Oh I love her. She's so pretty because she looks so original as well. She's not one of the skeletons which most of the celebrities are. Just look at her next to Lindsay Lohan, who looks like plastic doll: Click!(Amanda is on the right, Lindsay on the left) Amanda is normal weighted, and I think she's such a healthy role model. I don't know, but I think she's just so beautiful and she looks so innocent and sweet and and.. Okay, I'm officially crazy.
