    THE TOWER OF BABEL REMEMBERED AROUND THE WORLD.

    The Bible records that after the global Flood, humanity gathered together, shared one language, and attempted to build a tower reaching the heavens in open defiance of God. Scripture tells us God came down, confused their language, and scattered them across the earth. What is remarkable is not merely that Genesis records this event, but that echoes of both the Flood and Babel appear in cultures scattered across the globe, preserved in ancient memory long after people were divided and dispersed.

    On the Polynesian island of Hao, tradition speaks of God coming down, tearing down a towering structure, and giving the builders different languages. A Chaldean account tells of proud people united by one language who built a great tower until God sent a destructive wind and introduced linguistic division. The ancient Kaska people locate Babel itself in Babylon along the Euphrates River, matching the biblical geography. Even ancient Mesopotamian literature such as Enmerkar and the Lord of Aratta describes a time when all people spoke one language before divine intervention brought confusion and separation.

    Across the ocean in ancient Mexico, the Toltec people preserved a strikingly detailed memory. They recorded a world destroyed by a great Flood, survivors escaping in a closed chest, and humanity multiplying afterward. Following the Flood, they describe the construction of a very high tower, the sudden confusion of languages, and the scattering of peoples into different regions. They even traced their own origins to a small group who spoke one language, crossed great waters, lived in caves, and wandered for generations before settling. These events were said to occur just centuries after the Flood, aligning closely with the biblical timeline.

    These accounts are not coincidences. They are fragmented memories carried by real people who walked away from a real event. As families spread across the earth after Babel, they took their shared history with them. Over time, details blurred, but the core facts remained. A great Flood. One language. A towering structure. Divine judgment. Confused speech. Global dispersion. The Tower of Babel was not mythology invented by Moses. It was history remembered by the nations. And it remains the most coherent and powerful explanation for why the world speaks in many tongues today.

  • Hey everyone, have you noticed the anti-Israel crowd online lately throwing around "Good Goy" as an insult toward anyone supporting Israel or Zionism? It's popping up everywhere in heated debates about the Middle East. For example, just today, people are using it to mock politicians like Richard Tice MP for backing actions against Iran, calling him a "good goy" who's just following orders. Or telling others to "die for Israel" while labeling them the same way. It's become a go-to slur in these arguments. But let's zoom out and talk about how cultures worldwide use words to describe people from other groups. Many keep it straightforward and neutral, without all the drama. Thread: 1/

    Think back to that classic TV show "All in the Family" from the 1970s, starring Archie Bunker. In one episode, he's in the hospital with his white doctor and a brown-skinned foreign assistant stepping in. Archie just blurts out his thoughts on race and backgrounds—no filters, no big backlash then. To some, it felt like America was more open and direct back in those "free and normal" days. 2/

    Jump to Ghana now, where folks casually refer to "da blacks" for Black people and "da whites" for white ones. For white people or foreigners, they say "obruni" (or oborɔnyi in the Akan language), which translates to "person from over the horizon" or simply "foreigner." It's not an attack—it's like saying "that person from out of town." Everyday conversation, no one gets offended. 3/

    This isn't unique to Ghana. Around the world, many cultures have simple, everyday terms for outsiders or white people that are just descriptive, not meant to hurt:

    - In Thailand, "farang" refers to foreigners, especially white Westerners. It stems from an old term for Europeans and shows up in casual talk, like "farang food" for burgers or pizza. 4/

    - In Ethiopia—right here where I'm posting from—people use "ferenji" (or farenji) for foreigners, often white ones. Arabs have similar words like "ifranji" or "farangi" for Europeans. These are just neutral labels, no fuss involved. 5/

    - In Japan, "gaijin" means "outside person" or foreigner, commonly for non-Japanese folks, including white visitors. It's factual, not usually rude.

    - In India, "gora" describes light-skinned people (often whites), while "firangi" points to Western foreigners. Said all the time without second thoughts. 6/

    - In Indonesia, "bule" is for white people, originally from "albino" but now a relaxed term for tourists or Westerners.

    - In Mexico and Latin America, "gringo" labels Americans or white foreigners—it started as "foreigner" and isn't always negative, depending on context.

    - In Hong Kong and parts of China, "gweilo" (or gwailo) means "ghost man" for white men, based on pale skin resembling ghosts. It used to sting more but now it's often just casual slang. 7/

    What's the common thread? In tons of non-Western societies, these words are normal tools for noting differences, like calling someone "the tall guy" or "the new neighbor." Folks don't freak out unless politics or strong ideologies step in and make it a battle. But in Western societies, or among some Somali, Palestinian, or communist-influenced groups, everything gets hyper-sensitive and turned into a political weapon. 8/

    Now, back to that online hypocrisy: The same people slinging "Good Goy" as a dig at Zionists or Israel backers act like it's a huge deal. "Goy" (plural "goyim") is simply Hebrew for "nation" or non-Jewish person—originally neutral, like any group label. Yet they overlook how Ethiopians casually say "ferenji" for white folks or Arabs use "farangi" without any outrage. 9/

    Why single out "goyim" in Israel debates while ignoring similar terms used freely elsewhere? It's a blatant double standard, twisting words to push one side's agenda. Language is for describing reality—let's not politicize it selectively. What are your thoughts? End thread.

  • The Media Calls for a Weekly Day of Rest with No Work, and No Shopping.
    Blue Dot Living, an online magazine focused on sustainable living and environmental protection, published an article on December 29, 2025, calling for the establishment of a weekly day of rest for both people and the planet, giving examples of how Sunday is being set aside in different communities for rest and family time. The ideas expressed in the article show how society is being conditioned—step by step—to accept a mandated weekly day of rest.

    Blue Dot Living expressed the following:

    • “If you’re like Dot, you surely need a rest. So let me share with you some wonderful news. The best thing we can do the planet just might be … nothing. Nothing? Nothing! Jonathan Schorsch is urging all of us to join him in the Green Sabbath Project, a mass movement to observe a weekly day of rest, a modern version of what the ancients practiced: No work, no driving or flying, no scrolling our phones or anything technology, no shopping, no building. Instead, walk, sing, play. Eat with friends, food prepared ahead of time. Gather in community. Rest.” [1]

    • “This isn’t necessarily about God or religion, insists Schorsch, ‘it is merely common-sense self-care for oneself and our planetary home.’ And it just might help ease the strain on our planet, something we’re already seeing around the world. On Sundays, Mexico City allows tens of thousands of bicyclists, skateboarders, rollerbladers, parents, kids, and other pedestrians to take over more than a 30-mile area around the city’s historic district. Bogotá, Colombia, has similarly introduced car-free Sundays that the population savors, while England’s Playing Out program gives the streets back to parents and children for play.” [1]

    • “It is not just humans who need rest. Our Earth cries out for it, too. As Schorsch puts it, ‘A green Sabbath restores Shabbat to its original intention of commemorating the creation of the world.” [1]

    Blue Dot Living insists that a weekly day of rest “has nothing to do with God or religion,” but rather with self-care, well-being, and environmental healing. This type of reasoning redefines the Sabbath as a humanitarian and ecological tool, making it more appealing to the general public and reducing the likelihood of resistance to this proposal. This is how the world is being prepared to accept Sunday as the official day of rest: first, by disconnecting the Sabbath from the Word of God and presenting it as a matter of “common sense.”

    At the same time, a collective, synchronized day of rest, Sunday, is being normalized. The language emphasizes a “mass movement,” “gathering in community,” and “weekly day of rest.” This represents social participation. The article then gives samples about how this can play out in society through Sunday street closures, Sunday car-free events, and Sunday community gatherings. Essentially, Sunday is being elevated as the day when commerce stops, movement is restricted, and collective rest is encouraged. This call is describing a return to Sunday laws, but stripped of explicit religious language. However, the objective remains the same: to establish Sunday as the default day of rest without direct reference to religion.

    Truly, society is becoming accustomed to seeing Sunday as an obvious and practical day for rest. The problem is that Sabbath can never be separated from God or detached from His Word, because it was instituted by God Himself and defined by His command (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11). From creation, God sanctified and blessed the seventh day, Saturday, as the memorial of His creative power and sovereignty. In the Ten Commandments, God did not invite men to pick and choose their own day; He clearly identified “the seventh day” as His holy Sabbath, set apart by divine command, not human tradition.

    Any attempt to redefine the Sabbath as a personal or secular concept—whether for cultural or environmental reasons—strips it of its biblical meaning. Substituting Sunday in place of the true day of worship is an attempt to change the commandments of God. It shifts authority from God to human authority—from the Word of God to the traditions of men. These developments are helping to fulfill the long-standing biblical warning that Sunday will be imposed as the day of rest and worship. In time, economic and social pressure will be applied, and this movement will ultimately culminate into the mark of the beast crisis.

    “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:9. #sda #adventist #adventista

    What Does It Mean to Be a Disciple?

    Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Mark 8:34

    “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23). And who was this to make such a bold statement? He’s identified in history as Jesus of Nazareth, but Nazareth was merely the place where He grew up. One day, Jesus put the question to His disciples, saying, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” (Matthew 16:13). Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16).

    In both Marxist and revolutionary circles Jesus gained new prominence as one who had the courage to be different, as one who greatly changed the course of history. Jesus laid it on the line with His followers. He never sugarcoated the challenge. In fact, there were actually times when He made it difficult for men to follow Him. He actually believed that a nucleus of really dedicated men and women could accomplish far more than an army of believing warriors who tipped their hats to Him on Sabbath morning and forgot Him for the rest of the week.

    “If anyone would come after me,” Jesus challenged, “he must deny himself” (Matthew 16:24). In spite of religious interest today, the fact that there is very little real denial of self is one of the indications that much of what we call Christianity today is superficial—lacking much depth. “Deny yourself and take up your cross!” were the words that immediately brought to people’s minds the picture of crucifixion and all that it stood for. The disciples—the men and women—who heard Jesus understood this, for on many occasions they had watched as a helpless victim was impaled on wooden timbers affixed at right angles.

    The cross spoke of death—hideous, agonizing death, and the disciples immediately recognized that if they would really follow Jesus, then He had to be first as they put their own ambitions and interests aside. Does Jesus demand less today? Does He still insist that His kingdom be put above our own kingdoms of personal gain?

    Wycliffe Bible translator Ken Jacobs tried to translate the word “deny” when he was working with the Chamula Indians of Mexico. He found, however, that in their culture and language, they had no real concept or understanding of self-denial. Flagellation, or beating themselves—yes, there was a word for that; but to deny self was foreign to them. Finally, Ken translated the word, saying, “If anyone wants to follow me, let him put out of his own heart what his own heart wants to do, and come take up his cross daily and follow me.” That’s what discipleship is all about.

    One last thought: Following Jesus Christ is totally voluntary. He doesn’t coerce you. He won’t bribe you with a “home in the sky in the sweet by-and-by” offer. He merely invites you to “Come, follow me.” He demands one thing, though. He insists on having first place in your heart and life.

    Today, we seem to be blighted with an AMYF affliction: “After me, you’re first!” Why not be a Christian? Could be good for business. But the message of the cross hasn’t really changed with the passing of time. Carved in ivory or gilded with twenty-four-karat gold, the cross still speaks of personal death so Christ can live. Today, Jesus asks no less. He still says, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Mark 8:34). You put out of your heart what your heart wants to do so that He can live in your heart.

    God Speaks Through Nature

    By John Thiel,

    Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. 3 [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which [is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, [and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

    God speaks through nature. Is that right? He speaks in all languages through nature. The God of the Bible makes Himself known primarily via the Bible, its writings and through careful reading and studying the Bible, we may find Him. God is speaking to every individual that we may find Him.

    Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD:

    God wants us to seek for Him. Those who do not have the Bible, can they find him? How can they find God outside of the Bible? It is written that the flowers are the preachers for God. Nature preaches to you if you will listen. Those who have no Bible have no excuse that they cannot find God.

    Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

    We are told that even the heathen who have no preachers, no missionaries reaching them can be saved (Romans 2). It is the voice of God speaking to them through nature into their hearts. God speaks through nature and in the study of nature we hear Him preaching.

    Proverbs 30:24 There be four [things which are] little upon the earth, but they [are] exceeding wise: 25 The ants [are] a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; 26 The conies [are but] a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; 27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; 28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.

    You can look at all those things and they tell you a story, they preach to you. We may know Him as He reveals Himself there in nature. If we will seek for Him with all our heart in nature, God will be found by us as well as in the Bible.

    Many are the ways in which God is seeking to make Himself known to us and bring us into communion with Him. {SC 85.1}

    What do you appreciate from this? God is yearning to hold communion with us.

    Nature speaks to our senses without ceasing. The open heart will be impressed with the love and glory of God as revealed through the works of His hands. The listening ear can hear and understand the communications of God through the things of nature. The green fields, the lofty trees, the buds and flowers, the passing cloud, the falling rain, the babbling brook, the glories of the heavens, speak to our hearts, and invite us to become acquainted with Him who made them all. {SC 85.1}

    They invite us.

    Our Saviour bound up His precious lessons with the things of nature. The trees, the birds, the flowers of the valleys, the hills, the lakes, and the beautiful heavens, as well as the incidents and surroundings of daily life, were all linked with the words of truth, that His lessons might thus be often recalled to mind, even amid the busy cares of man’s life of toil. {SC 85.2}

    You can be actually communing with God while actively working. If only we would pick this up. How many people get distracted by the cares of this world as they have to work? Right there in the midst of the stressful labour God can speak to you.

    God would have His children appreciate His works and delight in the simple, quiet beauty with which He has adorned our earthly home. He is a lover of the beautiful, and above all that is outwardly attractive He loves beauty of character; He would have us cultivate purity and simplicity, the quiet graces of the flowers. {SC 85.3}

    If we will but listen, God’s created works will teach us precious lessons of obedience and trust. From the stars that in their trackless courses through space follow from age to age their appointed path, down to the minutest atom, the things of nature obey the Creator’s will. And God cares for everything and sustains everything that He has created. {SC 85.4}

    This is already affecting us isn’t it? As we embrace this as it touches our hearts, the Lord is so close to the heart that is open to these realities.

    When it comes to where He wants to tell the last generation, I am coming now in your lifetime, can you hear Him saying that in nature? Can we gain the explicit announcement that we had studied about the fig tree? Strange;, a fig tree. The lesson in nature that He has connected with the affairs of this world, nature will tell you whether you are living in the last generation that Jesus is going to come before you die. Nature will tell you this. What did Jesus mean when He said watch for that day? These are important things. We are to take time to look, listen, watch and to receive.

    Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

    Don’t be caught out, you are to watch. When you use the word watch, you are to use your eyes and senses, and what are you to watch? You are to watch God speaking to you from various different angles including nature. You are to watch. You are to carefully watch for what nature is telling you about His coming so that day doesn’t come to you unawares. He repeats it in Luke 21 and amplifies the thought.

    Luke 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

    Watch because it’s going to come as a snare. A snare to whom? To all who are on the face of the earth apart from those who are watching. They are watching closely to identify where they are at in the events to do with the coming of the Lord. Can nature give us a message as to the imminence of His return? What will nature do when He comes? What will happen in nature when He is actually coming literally?

    Psalm 50:3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

    His coming has something that nature will demonstrate.

    A Fire

    There will be tempestuous natural elements. The heavens that declare the glory of God He will call upon so at His coming nature will be at a convulsed tempestuous state.

    2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

    The coming of Jesus has to do with heavens declaring the glory of the Lord. How will they declare it? They will pass away with a great noise. Nature will speak. The elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works therein.

    Have you ever heard of a person who just melted away when he was running? If you overdo exercise too much you can melt away into ash. This has actually happened. That is when the tempestuousness in the body gets so hot it can actually burn itself. This is a scientific fact. Satan will be destroyed that way. A fire will come up from within him.

    Nature speaks of the coming of Jesus when it happens. But as this detail approaches, what is nature doing? Is nature doing something as it gets closer and closer to the coming of Jesus? If that is what nature is going to do at his coming, is nature doing something before its coming? We see how nature actually is speaking with a desire.

    Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.

    Do you read nature aright? Do you notice something in nature that it is actually groaning? Only if you are watching you will see it is groaning in actual pain, waiting in pain for the coming of the Lord. As the coming of the Lord draws close, can you see changes in nature that tell you that its groaning more and more and its coming to the point where the coming of Jesus will be demonstrated by nature. Just prior to a volcanic eruption does nature give you signs it’s going to erupt? Precisely. The coming of Jesus is going to be a burning magma. The elements will melt. It is a volcano of a huge dimension. Is the volcano giving you signs? From nature we may learn when summer and harvest is near and Jesus has connected that with His coming.

    Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:

    If you watch very carefully you will know through nature the seasons that are about to come.

    Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.

    I love the way God reaches our mentality. He tells us, have a close look at what I’m saying. He is combining His messages from nature to the literal in a very profound manner by the fact that in His word the trees are representing nations, politics, and the fig tree represents Israel. He says have a look at nature and its collation with the situations of the world. It is all telling you the same thing. I love the way God communicates with us. Summer is nigh in reference to the signs in nature connected with the other signs of man’s destructions.

    Harvest and Summer and the Coming of Jesus

    Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast [it] into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand [and] six hundred furlongs.

    Did you just see nature and politics blending together? This is how God speaks. We have seen in Matthew 24 that God gave signs in nature that ushered in and heralded the hour of Gods judgement. What were those signs in nature? The great Lisbon earthquake of 1755, the dark day of 1788 with the moon becoming as blood and then in 1833 the falling of the stars. Nature was speaking. The people were absolutely confounded with what was happening but were they watching? They saw what was happening but they weren’t watching because if they would have been watching, they would have known in 1844 that Jesus was changing his position from the holy place to the most holy place and the judgement of Gods people was commencing, but they weren’t watching and the door was shut on them.

    Nature is explicit for us to know today whether we are going to live to see the coming of Jesus. What specific details were communicated in nature in reference to the fig tree?

    Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

    People will say oh yes they have always been. Of course they have as nature has been groaning ever since sin arrived, but as it goes on, it starts groaning more and more heavily. As the nations are angrier, nature is responding as well but in the specific details since 1948 we want to see whether we can watch and recognise them instead of people saying we have to start preventing these terrible global warming results. They are trying to stop them instead of saying hey, this world is going to be destroyed and we can’t do anything about it, nature is telling me.

    To help recognise the imminent eruption, the signs of a volcano about to erupt, they are very smart. They can detect it with their seismological instruments but they can’t detect the coming of Jesus, strange that. Enlarge with me the nature of the eruption so you can tell the warning signs of the eruption.

    The Nature of the Eruption of the Coming of Jesus

    Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

    Why are they saying that? Nature is convulsing. They haven’t seen Him coming yet, what are they seeing; the eruption of His coming? What is the eruption? The heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together. This is the actual scene of nature and the mountains and the islands were moved out of their places. That’s tempestuousness. That is the eruption and to help us to identify the warning signs God has given us seismological instruments through His word to identify the rumblings of nature that is heralding the final eruption. We are worshipping God and we are here to appreciate His return.

    The Warning Signs

    Isaiah 24:17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, [are] upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

    24:18 And it shall come to pass, [that] he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

    24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

    24:20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

    This is the eruption. This is the reality of what happens at that end.

    Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

    24:4 The earth mourneth [and] fadeth away, the world languisheth [and] fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

    24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

    24:6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

    This is the grand culmination but can you see that you can identify the preliminaries, the warning signs. You can work them out to know that you are in the last generation and that this is about to happen. One of them was the earth will reel to and fro like a drunkard. Can you already know what is causing that today? We are in the generation in which if we are watching closely and we can see it will happen in our lifetime very soon. The earth will rock to and fro like a drunkard. In the warning signs, nature is already telling you this is due to occur.

    The Curse Devoureth the Earth

    What was it? The earth is defiled under the inhabitants thereof. Why is the earth behaving like that? It is cursed by the inhabitants thereof. They have broken the everlasting covenant; they have changed the ordinance and transgressed the laws. They have done things to the planet through sin that has made the planet come to a point of such groaning that it will finally erupt. Are we living in that generation to see this about to erupt? Isn’t it speaking? It is in our life time, there is not much longer.

    Proverbs 26:2 the curse causeless shall not come.

    It is time for them to realise it is their own doings that have affected the planet. It is the doing of man that is making the earth and all creation to mourn for the coming of the Lord. The cause was what? It was man’s disrespect to the laws that God had put in nature.

    Psalms 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens [are] the work of thy hands.

    102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

    The Plagues

    How does a garment wear out? Use and abuse, it gets threadbare after a while. What has man done to the planet? He has made it threadbare. This is what the Bible declares. Don’t worry about conspiracy theories, we don’t need them. It tells you man is doing it. Whatever he is doing, he is wearing out the garment on this planet. Those of the last generation if they are watching and listening to nature, they will behold the threadbare garment of earth. They will behold it’s in their lifetime, they will see it. We see the threadbare condition of that which God originally made beautiful. Slowly but surely the earth has become threadbare as a garment becomes worn.

    Psalms 107:33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;

    107:34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

    Most people read this as arbitrary punishment that God gives them. No, that is not how God works. The rivers will become dry. Why; because man has ruined this planet that is why and the fruitful place will become barren. Have you heard about the Sahara desert growing? Beautiful lush countries have become dry. It’s not just the Sahara desert, it’s where ever you look today. They are complaining about the Murray River (Australia) and the terrible destruction to the natural flora and fauna around there. The poisonous gasses being developed as the water isn’t flowing. Why? What have they done? This is only intensifying in this generation more than any other generation, more intense. Before it was there, just like the Sahara desert was there but now it is intensifying. The North Pole with its necessary ice cap has water ways running through the ice so now they can use to get their ships through. That weren’t there before.

    What kind of havoc does that play on the planet? The land becomes barren. Read Revelation 16:8-9 of the plagues and what happens? The sun becomes hotter and scorches the earth. That is a short statement to summarize how parts of the planet are going to be barren. The rivers dry up. The plague is about to completely take place. It’s right here, the gathering storm and tempest. There is going to be a tempestuous element at the coming of Jesus.

    Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

    38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

    Have you studied how hail is formed? The up currents cause the particles to go up and down and when they go up they freeze and then another layer is put on again and as these tempestuous winds go up, the stronger and bigger the hail stones become. That is the treasure of the hail. God has reserved that so that one day the hail stones are going to be how heavy? As heavy as a cement bag because the up currents are so tempestuous. Have you heard of hailstones unusually big today already as big as grapefruits? When it says in the day of the Lord the city will be laid low with the hail storm, it won’t just be dents in the tops of cars, the greatest bomb shell that has ever struck, hailstones. Can you see it? Nature is telling you, it is in our life time (Revelation 16:21).

    Earthquakes

    When a volcano is about to erupt there are quakes. The whole earth is going to erupt. What is happening?

    Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.

    He is already announcing that the beginnings are earthquakes. When it talks about beginnings, what do little earthquakes point to? I was listening to the radio and I heard that there was an earthquake in Japan that was 7 on the Richter scale and I thought here comes a big one and two days later sure enough there was the great big one. The warning was 7 and it ended up as 8 and over 8 and that big one did the damage. As I was listening to that, the Lord gave me the impression that was only the warning and a big one is coming. These earthquakes are only just precursors to the big one in my life time. The whole earth is going to be rocking under the great earthquake (Revelation 16:17-20).

    Pestilence

    What is one of the plagues? Revelation 16:2 – sores upon the people.

    Habakkuk 3:5 Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

    Isn’t that what the coming of Jesus is about? Fire burns in front of Him? What else burns in front of Him? Pestilence. Before He comes pestilence will be unleashed. What is it today? Have you heard of swine flu? What is that the result of; the breeding of germs. Germs are multiplying and these pandemics are increasing and who’s behind it all? There is a conspiracy theory that swine flu was deliberately created. Whether it was deliberately created or not, man did it. Man is breeding germs so that ultimately when those terrible sores will come out. It is as a consequence of the pestilence which is pandemic activity. We have seen identification points so that we can recognise it will happen in our lifetime. Is there any doubt after having seen those things? We see the warning signs leading to all of the plagues and more.

    The Plagues

    These plagues are the day of the Lord, the finishing of it all.

    Revelation 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead Manuhe Seyoum; and every living soul died in the sea.

    16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

    What is man doing to his environment? Look back to the Gulf of Mexico, dead man’s blood. Is it going to happen in our lifetime? We saw it never happened like that before. Then red/blood water, we are also seeing that. These are signs to help us understand that nature is telling us that the end is coming in our lifetime. It is coming to its conclusion, its final eruption.

    Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

    Can you already see the darkness in the papacy today? Not physical darkness but spiritual darkness where the papacy is suffering under its corruptions of the past. It’s happening in our life time. They are deteriorating in the eyes of the world. These are all realities that are giving us the indication and as it all comes to its final crucial dilemma.

    Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, [it was] without form, and void; and the heavens, and they [had] no light.

    4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

    4:25 I beheld, and, lo, [there was] no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

    4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place [was] a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, [and] by his fierce anger.

    Do you know that people are already aware that this may happen? Today the scientists are aware this may happen. They show the decay of the cities after so many years. As I was looking at this pre-meditated observation of what would happen after so many years, they show the different cities after a certain period of time come tumbling down. They are imagining that could happen. Why don’t they just read the Bible? Our generation knows what is to come but will they give God the glory? No, but will you? Can you in this last generation see all these things as Jesus said fulfilling never seen as such before?

    Can you see that it is possible for the earth to rock to and fro like a drunkard in an imbalanced state that the islands would disappear? It is true, the poles are melting and the waters are rising, the islands will disappear. We are already seeing it. They actually forecast that if you are living along this coast of Australia down in the lowlands you will drown. Your property will be swallowed up, they know it. They have forecast it.

    The Bible says the islands will disappear. We can see it with our bare eyes today. They have to take certain people from islands and shift them to other countries. The earth is going to rock to and fro like a drunkard. Why; because man has polluted his planet. What was the cause; transgression and transgressing the laws of nature. He doesn’t realise that as he is doing all these weird and wonderful things with his electronic behaviour up there in Alaska, interfering with the ionosphere with the electrical currents, what do you expect? They know that they can create earthquakes and they deliberately do it. See Isaiah 24:4-6 because the curse causeless shall not come. It was Satan with his smart tactics working through unbelievers that is chronicled.

    Isaiah 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

    14:17 [That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; [that] opened not the house of his prisoners?

    They could have been released if they listened to God but Satan keeps them in the deception. The world has become a wilderness. During the thousand years Lucifer is going to be sitting there saying, “I’ve got nobody to tempt anymore”. The planet is a wilderness. Remember the scapegoat, it was man’s own doing together with him (Psalm 9:16). The judgements that are going to come upon this earth have been clearly delineated as a result of man’s own doing. He has caused the planet to be worn down. God is the one that is orchestrating it.

    Psalms 9:16 The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.

    You want to get to know God? We want to get close to Him? We are coming to know Him more and more. You want to know Him. Some people argue that the plagues are not the work of man. They say no, no, it is the angels pouring them out. I said yes of course the angels are pouring it out as you will see at the end of this study what the angels do when they pour it out, but the fact is that it is man’s own doing that causes the plagues. You can argue as much as you like, but the Bible says so. God is known by the judgment which He pours out. The plagues are His judgement. It says that we will get to know God by recognising that the judgements that happen that He executeth is the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. You want to believe it, that’s a reality.

    Psalm 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day.

    7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

    7:13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

    7:14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

    7:15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch [which] he made.

    Man has made his own pit. What is the earth going to become? A bottomless pit, empty and void. That’s man’s doing and that’s Gods judgement. God is not a vindictive violent creature. He is not a creature at all. He is the creator who has created beings who have shut their eyes and ears to Him and have not made the right choices. They have determined not to follow Him and He says alright then, here you go and here we are today in the last generation.

    In my generation I have grown up quietly watching and the reason why I preach the way I do is because I have been watching from youth up. I listen to scientists and as I listen to all sorts of different things over the years, the Lord was speaking to me. It took a while to understand what I’m preaching now but very slowly He pointed out, are you watching, can you see, this and that? We are in the last generation and all the other studies that came together give me absolute assurance that what I’m teaching and sharing is absolute truth. When Satan comes with doubts to my mind I just take one glimpse at what the Lord has shown that it’s going to happen. When it hits, those who haven’t been doing what I’m doing, will be unready. They will cry out help, help. It’s too late.

    Follow carefully the other dimensions in regards to the social. What man is doing to himself socially will come to a point when he can’t change anymore. I am seeing it with my own eyes and sometimes I despair whether I should study with people anymore because many of them have come to the point where they can’t change because it’s too late. I tremble when I see souls who are not listening fast enough to make the changes in their life. They think it’s okay and all of a sudden the thief has come and they can’t change anymore. As I’m studying with certain people I see the Lord can still do a miracle and I will keep on studying. I will keep on showing them if they will listen. The Lord has miraculous ways by which He can teach them very quickly but it’s going to be hard. It’s going to be terrible and they will have to learn through much suffering more than those who have listened earlier but if they will hold on to the Lord, don’t let go, He will save us even when we think it’s too late because it’s not too late while we still hear the word of God as we are hearing but it’s very scarce today. Is that right?

    All hell will be let loose. You saw little incidents of it with the tsunami. You saw it in the footages. It just relentlessly pushed on and the houses were just crumbling. They were brick houses just getting mauled along. Relentless but so far and no further. Why; because Revelation 7:1-3 isn’t finished yet. Hold, says the angel, there are still some souls I want to seal, they aren’t sealed yet. They haven’t settled into the truth yet so they can’t be moved. Hold, hold, hold until we have finished our work, believers in this last generation must be protected. That is what the call of Revelation 18 is all about – come out of her my people. That is what Psalm 91 is all about.

    2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    Don’t you love Him?

    2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;

    Whilst all these things are being loosened and pulled back but only so far, it is for those who are watching and who want to make the changes. They are the ones He is waiting for. Is He waiting for you? Where are you brother and sister? Has He got to do some quick work with us to bring us to perfection? Look at what He is doing, the angels are belting the earth and they are holding tight for you and me. Does that not touch your heart?

    Angels are belting the world, refusing Satan his claims to supremacy, made because of the vast multitude of his adherents. We hear not the voices, we see not with the natural sight the work of these angels, but their hands are linked about the world, and with sleepless vigilance they are keeping the armies of Satan at bay till the sealing of God’s people shall be accomplished. {7BC 967.9}

    The ministers of Jehovah, angels have skill and power and great strength, being commissioned to go forth from heaven to earth to minister to His people. They are given the work of keeping back the raging power of him who has come down like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. The Lord is a refuge for all who put their trust in Him. {7BC 967.10}

    These words are vital to me. I see with my bare eyes the angels holding back those winds, I don’t see them but I see the winds being held back. Now I’m telling you as what I’m watching you’ve only got a very short time to get your life in order and that I’ve got to get my life in order. I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to me. My heart trembles before the Lord at the same time with the beautiful encouraging messages we can rejoice in the tribulation. May God help us to stay focused.

    Amen.
    Daily Sermons # 6 God Speaks Through Nature By John Thiel, Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: God wants us to seek for Him. Many are the ways in which God is seeking to make Himself known to us and bring us into communion with Him. {SC 85.1} What do you appreciate from this? God is yearning to hold communion with us. Nature speaks to our senses without ceasing. The open heart will be impressed with the love and glory of God as revealed through the works of His hands. The listening ear can hear and understand the communications of God through the things of nature. The green fields, the lofty trees, the buds and flowers, the passing cloud, the falling rain, the babbling brook, the glories of the heavens, speak to our hearts, and invite us to become acquainted with Him who made them all. {SC 85.1} They invite us. Our Saviour bound up His precious lessons with the things of nature. The trees, the birds, the flowers of the valleys, the hills, the lakes, and the beautiful heavens, as well as the incidents and surroundings of daily life, were all linked with the words of truth, that His lessons might thus be often recalled to mind, even amid the busy cares of man’s life of toil. {SC 85.2} You can be actually communing with God while actively working. If only we would pick this up. How many people get distracted by the cares of this world as they have to work? Right there in the midst of the stressful labour God can speak to you. God would have His children appreciate His works and delight in the simple, quiet beauty with which He has adorned our earthly home. He is a lover of the beautiful, and above all that is outwardly attractive He loves beauty of character; He would have us cultivate purity and simplicity, the quiet graces of the flowers. {SC 85.3} If we will but listen, God’s created works will teach us precious lessons of obedience and trust. From the stars that in their trackless courses through space follow from age to age their appointed path, down to the minutest atom, the things of nature obey the Creator’s will. And God cares for everything and sustains everything that He has created. {SC 85.4} This is already affecting us isn’t it? A Fire There will be tempestuous natural elements. Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh: If you watch very carefully you will know through nature the seasons that are about to come. Harvest and Summer and the Coming of Jesus Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. The Nature of the Eruption of the Coming of Jesus Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. The Warning Signs Isaiah 24:17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, [are] upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. The Curse Devoureth the Earth What was it? 102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: The Plagues How does a garment wear out? Psalms 107:33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; 107:34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, 38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? Earthquakes When a volcano is about to erupt there are quakes. Pestilence What is one of the plagues? The Plagues These plagues are the day of the Lord, the finishing of it all. Revelation 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead [man]; and every living soul died in the sea. Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, Can you already see the darkness in the papacy today? Isaiah 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 14:17 [That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; [that] opened not the house of his prisoners? 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; Whilst all these things are being loosened and pulled back but only so far, it is for those who are watching and who want to make the changes. They are the ones He is waiting for. Is He waiting for you? Where are you brother and sister? Has He got to do some quick work with us to bring us to perfection? Look at what He is doing, the angels are belting the earth and they are holding tight for you and me. Does that not touch your heart? Angels are belting the world, refusing Satan his claims to supremacy, made because of the vast multitude of his adherents. We hear not the voices, we see not with the natural sight the work of these angels, but their hands are linked about the world, and with sleepless vigilance they are keeping the armies of Satan at bay till the sealing of God’s people shall be accomplished. {7BC 967.9} The ministers of Jehovah, angels have skill and power and great strength, being commissioned to go forth from heaven to earth to minister to His people. They are given the work of keeping back the raging power of him who has come down like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. The Lord is a refuge for all who put their trust in Him. {7BC 967.10} These words are vital to me. Amen.

    Clear as Crystal.

    December 5th, 2025

    The largest natural crystals in the world are found in the Cave of the Crystals in Chihuahua, Mexico. One giant selenite crystal measures more than 37 feet long. Access to the cave is risky due to extremely hot temperatures (136 degrees Fahrenheit) and flooding.

    When John beheld in vision the New Jerusalem, he struggled to find words to describe what he saw. His primary focus of the holy city is that it has “the glory of God.” This same glory describes the bride; the apostle Paul said of Christ, “that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27, emphasis added). God’s glory is reflected in His people.

    John next explains, “Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.” The Greek word for jasper, iaspis, is probably not the same gem we call jasper today. It may have been chalcedony, agate, opal, jade, or nephrite.

    Jasper was the last gem in the breastplate of the high priest (Exodus 28:20). John previously described Jesus appearing as the King of the universe “like a jasper” (Revelation 4:3). His use of the word “like” indicates John’s grasping for a way to describe something much greater.

    Whatever stone John is speaking about, the light of God’s glory was “clear as crystal.” Crystal can refer to any number of stones (like diamonds) or even ice (like snowflakes). The Greek word John uses, krustalliz?, literally means “to flash forth light” or “to scintillate.” It’s also used in Revelation to describe the “sea of glass” (4:6) and the “river of life” (22:1). Such descriptions make one think of diamonds, which are particularly reflective.

    Like the bright twinkle in the eye of a radiant bride, God’s people are to reflect the brilliant character of Jesus, which is symbolized by the beauties of the New Jerusalem. A glorious countenance comes from the glory of God in our hearts.

    Dear Father, it is my humble desire to reflect Jesus’ beautiful and perfect character in my life today.
