    DAY 2 – THE UNCONQUERABLE FORTRESS
    [When the world shakes, where do you run for cover?]
    #WorshipAndTheWord – God Our Mighty Defender
    #AMightyFortressIsOurGod #MartinLuther #BeStillMysoul #Sibelius
    Our God is not a distant deity; He is a bulwark that never fails and a shield that cannot be pierced!
    The cross proved that even the greatest onslaught of darkness cannot prevail against the purposes of God. Jesus entered the heart of the battle, faced the "ancient foe," and emerged victorious. He is your fortress—not a place you visit, but a Person in whom you dwell.
    Living in the fortress of God changes our perspective on trouble. We don’t have to tremble at the news or the threats of the enemy, because our Defender is greater than any force rising against us. Today, stop trying to fight in your own strength and start resting in His.
    Our Help in Trouble
    This scripture reveals the immediate availability of God’s strength.
    Psalm 46:1 (BSB)
    “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
    You don't have to go searching for God; He is already right there in the middle of your struggle.

    The Lord Fights for You
    This scripture reveals that God actively defends His people, calling them to trust and be still.
    Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
    “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
    In the face of overwhelming challenges, you can rest assured that God is already working on your behalf—your role is to trust and remain calm.

    The Unstoppable Advocate
    See the security we have when God takes our side.
    Romans 8:31 (BSB)
    “What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
    The math of heaven is simple: You + God = An invincible majority.
    Beloved:
    I call you to stop looking at the size of the storm and start looking at the strength of your Stronghold! The enemy wants you focused on your "bulwark failing," but the Word says He is a bulwark never failing.
    Reject the spirit of fear and the "what-ifs" of the future. Shake off the dust of anxiety. You are protected, provided for, and preserved by the Most High. Walk out today with your head held high, knowing that the One who sustains the universe is sustaining you.
    Prayer:
    Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that You are my refuge and my unconquerable strength.
    I reject the fear of man and the dread of the future. I receive Your peace that passes all understanding.
    Holy Spirit, clothe me in Your armour today. Help me to stand firm when the world is shaking and to be a source of strength for others who are afraid.
    Help me to not rush ahead in my own strength, but to know that you are fighting my battles, setting ambushes in the camp of the enemy, and You are a hedge around me.
    I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, because my life is hidden with Christ in God.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

  • Sometimes God repeats things a few times. Here this title is repeated many times. You can trust His word.
    Psalm 136:1-26 NKJV Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
    Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.
    Oh, give thanks to the Lord of Lords! For his mercy endures forever;
    To Him who alone does great wonders, for His mercy endures forever; To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;
    To him who laid out the earth above the waters, For his mercy endures forever; To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever--
    The sin to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever;
    The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.
    To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, For His mercy endures forever; And brought out Israel from among them, For His mercy endures forever;
    With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, For His mercy endures forever;
    To Him who divided the Red Sea in two, For His mercy endures forever; And made Israel pass through the midst of it; For His mercy endures forever;
    But overthrew Pharaoh and his army on the Red Sea, For His mercy endures forever;
    To Him who lead His people through the wilderness, For His mercy endures forever;
    To Him who struck down great kings, For His mercy endures forever; And slew famous Kings, For His mercy endures forever-- Sihon king of the Amorites, For His mercy endures forever;
    And Og king of Bashan, For His mercy endures forever-- And gave their land as a heritage, For His mercy endures forever; A heritage to Israel His servant, For His mercy endures forever.
    Who remembered is on our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever; And rescued us from our enemies, For His mercy endures forever;
    Who gives food to all flesh, For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever.
    Background Story for verse 5- Jeremiah 51:15-16 He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding. When He uttered His voice--
    There is a multitude of waters in the heavens; 'He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the winds out of Hos treasures."
    Background Story for verse 7-Genesis 1:14-18 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years. “and let them be for lights In the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”, and it was so.
    Then God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night,
    and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
    Background Story for verse 10 Exodus 12:29-30 And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat his throne to the firstborn of captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.
    So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
    Background Story for verse 11 Exodus 12:50-51 Thus all the children of Israel did; as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
    And it came to pass on that very same day, that the Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their armies.
    Background Story for verse 12 Exodus 6:6-7 "Therefore say to the children of Israel; 'I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians,
    I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. 'I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
    Background Story for verse 13 Exodus 14:21-22 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
    So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
    Background Story for verse 16 Exodus 13:17-18 Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistine's, although that was near, for God said,
    "lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt." So God lead the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.
    Background Story for verse 18 Deuteronomy 29:7 "And when you came to this place, Sihon king of Heshbob and Og king of Bashan came out against us to battle, and we conquered them.
    Background Story for verse 19 Numbers 21:21-24 Then Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying, "Let me pass through your land. We will not turn aside into field or vineyards; we will not drink water from wells. We will go by the King's Highway until we have passed through your territory."
    But Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his territory. So Sihon gathered all his people together and went out against Israel in the wilderness, and he came to Jahaz and fought Israel.
    then Israel defeated them with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the people of Ammon; for the border of the people of Ammon was fortified.

  • Do Not Fear Or Be Afraid Genesis 15:1-Deuteronomy 28:68 NKJV

    Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.

    Genesis 20:11 And Abraham said, "Because I thought, surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will kill me on account of my wife.

    Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, "What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.

    Genesis 26:24 And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake."

    Genesis 35:17 Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, "Do not fear; you will have this son also."

    Genesis 43:23 But he said, "Peace be with you, do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father has given you treasure in your sacks; I had your money." Then he brought Simeon out to them.

    Genesis 46:3 So he said, "I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

    Genesis 50:19-21 Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God?

    "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

    "Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones." And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.

    Exodus 9:30 "But as for you and your servants, I know that you will not yet fear the LORD God."

    Exodus 14:13-14 And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

    "The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

    Exodus 20:20-21 And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin."

    So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.

    Numbers 14:8-9 "If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, 'a land which flows with milk and honey.'

    "Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. do not fear them."

    Numbers 21:34-35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people and his land; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon."

    So they defeated him, his sons, and all his people, until there was no survivor left him; and they took possession of his land.

    Deuteronomy 1:21 'Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.'

    Deuteronomy 3:2 "And the LORD said to me,'Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon.'

    Deuteronomy 3:22 'You must not fear them, for the LORD your God Himself fights for you.'

    Deuteronomy 11:25 "No man shall be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.

    Deuteronomy 20:3-4 "And he shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel; Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;

    'for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.'

    Deuteronomy 31:6-8 "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

    Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.

    "And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. he will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."

    Deuteronomy 28:66-68 "Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life.

    "In the morning you shall say, 'Oh, that it were evening!' And at evening you shall say, 'Oh, that it were morning!' because of the fear which terrifies your heart, and because of the sight which your eyes see.

    "And the LORD will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, 'You shall never see it again.' And there you shall be offered for sale to the enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you."

Exodus 20:20-21 And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin." So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was. Numbers 14:8-9 "If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, 'a land which flows with milk and honey.' "Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. do not fear them." Numbers 21:34-35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people and his land; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon." So they defeated him, his sons, and all his people, until there was no survivor left him; and they took possession of his land. Deuteronomy 1:21 'Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.' Deuteronomy 3:2 "And the LORD said to me,'Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon.' Deuteronomy 3:22 'You must not fear them, for the LORD your God Himself fights for you.' Deuteronomy 11:25 "No man shall be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you. Deuteronomy 20:3-4 "And he shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel; Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; 'for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.' Deuteronomy 31:6-8 "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. "And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. he will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed." Deuteronomy 28:66-68 "Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life.
