Instead of a URL, you can upload a file. Preferably an HTML document, but it can be anything supported by a browser.

There is only one Lacus instance available.

The Lacus instance called "default" has the following capabilities:

Headed captures not allowed.
Remote headed captures not allowed.
Trusted timestamps are generated by default.
Invisible Internet Project (I2P) is enabled, you can capture URLs with a .i2p TLD.
Tor is enabled, you can capture URLs with a .onion TLD, or capture any URLs via tor.

Browser interface:

Headless: no interaction with the browser and default instrumentation.

[Disabled] Headfull: a browser window will appear shortly after the capture is launched.

[Disabled] Headfull (in a remote X server): click on the link in the page shown after the capture is launched.

Depending on the User-Agent, Lookyloo will select a specific browser for the capture (Firefox, Chromium, or WebKit).

Firefox: Better at bypassing bot detections
Chromium: Better HAR file, making the tree more reliable

You may want to do the same capture with different browser to see the difference.

Allow tracking:

If disabled, the browser will not run any JavaScript when rendering the page.

The capture will wait for that time (in sec) after the instrumentation is over.

The capture will stop regardless the state of the page after this time.

For Referrer, Accept-Language (Locale), Authorization (HTTP Authentication), Cookie, and DNT (Do Not Track), please use the dedicated fields in this form.

The values are passed to captured website if it requests them via the Geolocation API.

The authentication credentials will be stored on the lookyloo instance and potentially accessed by third parties (either because the Lookyloo instance is public, or people other than you have access to the instance). If that's the case, please make sure none of them can be used to login as yourself on websites.

The file has to be a storage stste from another lookyloo capture.

Init Script

The JavaScript code you set in this field will be executed on every page as described in the Playwright documentation . Invalid or broken code there may cause the capture to fail.

Cookies:

The file can either be the JSON export from the Firefox plugin Cookie Quick Manager or from an other Lookyloo capture.

The cookies will be stored on the lookyloo instance and potentially accessed by third parties (either because the Lookyloo instance is public, or people other than you have access to the instance). If that's the case, please make sure none of them can be used to login as yourself on websites.

Do not Track (discontinued):

Sets the DNT HTTP header.
