Indefinite Hiatus

Hi guys. :)
I know I haven't updated in forever and I'm not sure when or if I will. I say this with deep regret because livejournal was the one account that I've stuck with and stayed with the longest (ever since middle school). I've met so many wonderful people on here and am sad about leaving you all, but I've just lost interest in LJ. I haven't made icons in forever and just don't feel like making anymore like I used to. :(
I've actually found myself making more fanvids and maybe the occasional picspams.

So, I'm sorry, but I won't be on livejournal until further notice. Further notice being if I ever do get inspired to make icons and decide to come back. Although I won't be on here, you can always PM me if you need to contact me. Otherwise, if you'd like to stay connected with me, you can always check out my tumblr and YT channel.

A Short Hiatus

Hey guys.

RL is getting hectic and I have a lot of things I need to get done. So, I'm taking a short hiatus from Livejournal. I already notified my land comm teams...all of whom I apologize to, but I just need a break. This also unfortunately means I won't be able to complete the 20in20 icon challenges that I signed up for. :(

Hey guys. I know I haven't been on or updated in nearly a month and I'm afraid that I might not come back till after the holidays. I'm sorry. I just won't be updating this journal with new graphics (haven't touched photoshop in nearly 2 months :O) for awhile.

Sci-fi Ships Galore! (in RGB)

Another picspam for both picspammy and my BB for scifiland .
For this one, I chose to showcase some of my favorite ships in the scifi fandom. :D
The couples include Mal/Inara, ~~Simon/Kaylee~~ (Firefly) Alice/Hatter (Alice Syfy), ~~Sarah/Becker, Nick/Claudia/Jenny,~~ Abby/Connor (Primeval), Daniel/Vala (Stargate SG1), ~~Lois/Clark (Smallville)~~ and ~~Jake/Diane (Jake 2.0~~). Since the limit of caps for BB is 100, I've only decided to do some of my major ships and exclude those with not too many caps or my minor ships- about 20 caps each...and to make it a little bit easier for me to choose caps, I tried to stick with caps with both characters. The overall idea is that each of the caps are mostly red, green or blue. The last cap was supposed to be in the red section, but I forgot about till the end. Enjoy. :D

Remember The Name ft. Primeval

For picspammy 's latest challenge: Illustrate a Song.
I chose to do the show, Primeval since there aren't enough picspams of it. The song is a mix made by zwieR.Z with the songs, Remember the Name and Bittersweet Symphony. The coloring is not the same throughout because I worked on this for a couple of days. I decided to only do nearly half of the song...~~the song was much longer than I expected~~. I'm tempted to make a whole fanvid to the song, but don't know where to download the series... I also hope I got the lyrics right (because I didn't save the .psds).

You can listen to the song while looking at it because I tried to follow the beats throughout the picspam although, it is a little off in certain places. :(

1 | Creepy Child
They look sweet, innocent, even angelic, but there's something not quite right about them. They're too calm, too knowing. They aren't really children any longer, not at heart.

2 | Spectacled Sadist (minus the spectacles)
A Spectacled Sadistis a male love interest whose defining traits are that he is cold, cruel, and abusive to his romantic partner in a manner intended to be kinky and appealing to the audience. A Spectacled Sadist typically has a cool, sophisticated or commanding way of speaking, an evil little smile and an expensive suit.

Or more accurately the Psycho for Hire.

3 | The Ditz
The Ditz is a character whose defining characteristic is profound stupidity. In drama series, he or she provides comic relief. The person is not a true Ditz unless you are left wondering how someone this stupid could possibly hope to function in modern society. Unlike The Fool, The Ditz is seldom in any real danger, and luck probably couldn't save him if he or she ever were.

These two are my ABSOLUTE favorite characters, without a doubt. They also are the Bonnie & Clyde of Anime.

4 | Artificial Human
Ranging from "biological robot" to "cyborg" to "clone"... The important thing is Artificial Humans look like humans, they move like them, etc. Some may be bullet proof, but you wouldn't be able to tell from touch. Artificial Humans often have cognitive traits typical of a robot. Many of them also have the same kind of loyalty to their creators that robots tend to be programmed for. But many of them have more in common with humans emotionally than robots. They are often outsiders, so their emotional states are often in the "angst" category, which leads to bonding with the kind-hearted hero(ine) or Kill All Humans

5 | Ubermensch
An Übermensch is commonly identified by three traits: an antisocial mindset, an inhuman charisma, and a plan to Make A Better World. It doesn't have to be a Utopia, of course: any grand goal will do, as long as its weight is too much for most people. He, too, is just more than anyone around him in terms of presence and personal strength and the others feel it and follow him, even when realizing the amorality of their actions. And he is, indeed, almost always the villain: either an epic Big Bad, or a (conveniently named) Nietzsche Wannabe, or a Well Intentioned Extremist whose perceived Utopia Justifies The Means, or a somewhat sympathetic Tragic Hero, or an absolutely fabulous Magnificent Bastard, compelling Dark Messiah, ambivalent Noble Demon etc., etc.

6 | Martial Pacifist
The inverse of Arrogant Kung Fu Guy (and often a direct foil to such a character), and just as prevalent among martial artist characters. The peaceful kind, that is. Disciplined. Kind. Personable. You know the type. A Martial Pacifist will mop the floor with anyone dumb enough to challenge him. But unlike his arrogant counterpart, he will not kill you unless he has no other choice, as killing usually goes against everything that he stands for.

7 | Tranquil Fury
In every Badass's life, there may come a time when going berserk simply does not work. In this case, many people choose to turn to Tranquil Fury. This state of mind allows much whoop-ass to be uncanned without undue stress. When the time comes for the showdown between the Designated Hero and the Big Bad, do not expect to see furious angry rage. Instead, expect The Hero (or Anti Hero)'s face to be serenely, eerily calm. They will not appear to be even slightly put out with the villain. Of course, that won't stop them from trying to hack the villain to pieces. A defeat by someone in the grip of Tranquil Fury is likely to be more comprehensive than others, as they will be very sure to do the job properly.

8 | Aloof Big Brother
He's smarter, stronger, faster, more talented and more refined than the shonen hero, and — just to add insult to injury — he's probably more of a Bishonen, too. His only problem seems to be moving his face out of that expression of bored, dignified disdain. And he just happens to be the elder brother of one of the main cast, which often gives them a raging inferiority complex.
Will most likely double as the Ineffectual Loner and Noble Demon, thereby running the risk of becoming an Ensemble Darkhorse.

9 | Living Forever Is Awesome
You're alive! And you know what? Life is awesome!
Money can come and go, but will mostly come since you have an infinite time horizon over which to accumulate wealth and make investments, and you'll always be around to enjoy it! As for the ones you'll love and lose - well, "Kiss today goodbye, and point me towards tomorrow." Try not to forget your old friends, but don't let that shut you out from the amazing people you can and will meet! Besides, in some universes, death is more boring than life could ever be, or is too terrifying to consider. Basically, rather than Sour Grapes griping, the immortal character decides to see the upside of immortality and actually enjoys it. It may not be a bed of roses, but life can be good.

10 | The Mafia
Scary Italian dudes with guns. Part tight-knit community, part protection racket, these paisani live by a code - which just happens to include vendetta (killing anyone who wrongs la famiglia) and omertÃ (going to your Don, rather than the cops, when you have trouble with a fellow Italian). Classically known as the Cosa Nostra, and also called "wiseguys".

11 | Complete Monster
This is it. The point most distant from the Moral Event Horizon.
The Complete Monster is the most depraved of all characters; a villain utterly lacking in redeeming features. Trying to put a value on the evilness of a Complete Monster is like calculating the credit score of Bill Gates: it's a moot point.

12 | Mad Love
Unrequited Love can hurt. A lot. That is, of course, assuming that the target of all those squishy pink emotions is unaware of them and the sender is painfully aware of this. Sometimes, though, the roles are reversed. The object of affection not only is perfectly aware of this one-sided crush, but actively tries to tell his erstwhile Love Interest that he isn't interested. Sometimes violently. The Love Interest, meanwhile, fails to get the very clear message, to the point that they go past mere Clingy Jealous Person and become what any sane person would consider a Stalker With A Crush, or a Psycho Supporter if they honestly mean no harm to the other party and also respect their ideas.

13 | Pyro Maniac
A Pyromaniac is someone who either enjoys lighting fires or feels compelled to light fires. Pyromaniacs play with fire, kill things with fire, and generally make and use fire whenever they can. They generally think fire is completely awesome or just wanna see things burn. Nice.

14 | Berserker Tears
A character is fighting, often in a rage that's frightening to behold. At the same time tears are streaming down their face. Sometimes they cry with grief about what just happened that drove them into the rage. Others show their regret about the harm that they're doing. Occasionally it's just the fear, physical pain and plain horror of battle. It's hard to tell. Either way the fight often seems like a last resort to overcome the pain and lash out against this cruel world as a whole.

15 | Butt Monkey
The character who is always the butt of the demeaning joke or the "put him through hell" plotline. Nothing ever goes right for this character; he's constantly abused by pretty much everyone he knows, even his so-called friends, and if something bad is going to happen to someone, chances are, it's going to be him. Long story short, it sucks to be the Butt Monkey

At first, I didn't think I would do this challenge...but as I looked through the pretty caps, I was too tempted. Due to lack of time, I limited myself to only 50 caps which was harder to choose than I thought. I know there are people who do not ship Mal/Inara, but whatever. lol. Overall, the coloring in some of the images turned out better than others and some of images ended up slightly grainy. :(

#1 Saffron: Shiny, Crazy, Sneaky & Interesting

"Woman, you are completely off your nut."

Saffron is one of my favorite characters in Firefly.♥ She's one of those characters that you love to hate. lol. She's sneaky, deceptive, resourceful and gorram gorgeous. I especially loved the interactions between her and Mal as well as her and Inara.

#2 Jubal Early: Crazy & Sneaky

When I first watched the last episode, I thought Jubal Early was one of the most confusing and insane characters ever. Just, you know, out there. I still kind of think that.... However, I come to appreciate his character. Plus that's what makes him interesting because you watch the episode hoping that by doing so, you'll be able to understand him a little better. In the end, you realize he's slightly crazy with his own strange way of looking at things.

#3 Adelei Niska: Crazy & Crazy

"Niska has his own code... twisted as it may be. Very excited 'bout reputation."
Appeared in: Train Job, War Stories
Niska is without a doubt one of the craziest villians on the show as emphasized by the crazy & crazy. lol. He's one of those villians that act and think with their own sense of morality and loyalty and doesn't care about yours as long as the job gets done. If not, then.... well, you'd be lucky to come out alive & still sane.

#4 Badger: Interesting

"A petty thief with delusions o' standing? Sad little king of a sad little hill."
Appeared in: Train Job, Shindig
Not as crazy as Niska nor is he as sneaky as Jubal or Saffron, but he is funny to watch. One of my favorite scenes is in Shindig with the conversation between him and River.

#5 Reavers: Crazy & Interesting?

"If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing. And if we're very, very lucky, they'll do it in that order."

I had a hard time deciding on the fifth because there were alot of minor villian-type characters. However, Reavers are perhaps the (major) scariest villians... even the mention of their names makes one (especially Jayne) scared. In fact, none are really shown on the show (with the exception of Bushwhacked), but they did show the people- what was left of them- they left behind. So, their ship is one that anyone would try to avoid.

The current challenge at picspammy is something different. Since I've only picspammed twice, that's pretty much open to nearly everything. I originally planned to do one of India, specifically Kerala (south India). However, it's hard finding really good pictures that I could use. So, meanwhile, I choose to picspam ABC's Castle. It is one of my favorite new TV shows, not only because of Nathan Fillion (♥ Mal in Firefly)...even if that was one of the reasons I started watching it. It's a show that is not as serious as most crime dramas- at times, it's light-hearted and funny. Most of all, Kate Beckett and Castle, the cop and mystery writer, make an interesting pair that's interesting to watch work together. Also, it's one of a few shows that aren't picspammed alot.
The picspam I made focuses on the first episode of Season 1, "Flowers for your Grave." I re-watched the episode for the quotes and there were alot of good quotes... so, it was hard to choose. I also tried to include about every character minus the ones involved in the case so, it wasn't only certain characters like Castle and Beckett.
WARNING: VERY IMAGE HEAVY... I got kinda carried away. If I had the time, it would've ended up as a massive picspam. lol. Enjoy. ♥

    Scarred

A tragedy occurs. A young woman, a single mother of two, is igniting the stove of her Old Victorian House kitchen. She walks into the next room to watch her two sons play when smoke fills the room.
&The mother turns and screams frantically upon seeing the blazing fire. As the mother turns to grab her sons, a thick pocket of smoke clouds her sight. She runs out in a panic to her neighbor who calls 911.
Yet, by the time they came, the two sons had already died to the flames. Actually, the mother who did survive was admitted to the nearest hospital with major burns to her face.
          The tragedy does not reach the public until news broadcast the story that evening.

           A young girl sits down that night tot watch the news when she sees a reporter at the hospital. The camera zooms in on the mother's scarred face when the young girl finds her hand absently stroking her face.
          Her mind then reels to June 1999. She finds herself smiling as she took the plate, her hands wrapped tight around the bat. Her friend had the outfield and her brother, the pitcher's mound. Her brother smirked as he threw the ball and she heard the thwack sound of ball against her bat. Her hands let go and the bat fell onto the paved concrete floor. She ran as fast as she could. At the corner of her eye, she glimpsed her brother with the ball. She did not have much time.
          Before she realized, she was onto the floor with the conrete scraping against her face. Covering her face, she cried and ran into the house as she heard laughter behind her. She then uncovered her face and looked into the mirror with her scarred face.

    She found her mind then reeling back to the present as the mother's face reflected back.
    For a moment, she thought the face was hers once again and that she was reliving a nightmare. However, the face then receded and the credits rolled as she gazed to her mother besides her.
   The mother asks what is wrong, sensing that she had something on her mind. Yet, the girl simply shakes her head, leaving the memory hidden deep inside her mind to bury itself along with regret.
    A memory to be forgotten until another scarred face crossed her path.

For the moment, as you may notice, I only have one story up---the rest will be up shortly....:-P

Just because there is hatred in war

It doesn’t mean all men died in vain

It doesn’t scorch the hope to live

It doesn’t scream in agony

Just because there is hatred in war

It doesn’t mean hate should live in streets

or in souls

or in thrown piles of dirt

It doesn’t mean cold soldiers exist in war

on battlefields

or in trenches

Try to look past your door and see

your neighbor embracing his child

Just because there is hatred in war

Kindness still lives and blazes firm

It doesn’t mean all vant your blood

Just because there’s hatred in war---

don’t let it live past the fight

their smiles faded

their faces clear

and gazing out---

she watched

in silence

at their moments

held still in time---

all she wanted

was to scream

to lash out

the fear

the anger

the agony

such carefree

people bestowed

upon her

jaws clenched

feet crossing

grinning smile

played on her lips

as her hands

reached out

for the people---

their faces

held still

with frozen stares
which she tore
with her teeth

Tick-Tock

clocks are moving

twist and turning

seconds

minutes

hours

days

years pass by

as time goes on

before you realize

you’re on the porch

eighty-something

nearing death

right on time

a little late

an hour past

they all don’t matter

because

at one point

we’re all

running late

I don’t understand…

why life is so short yet
long in-between

why morals thrown out

come back and

bite you

why people assume facts

from observations

But most of all…

why my memory’s so poor
lacking moments in-between

why I must grow up and

can’t stay in Never land

why people lash out

over the simplest things

why we must disagree

Yet I know…

why my family’s so dear

close to my heart

why I must live on and

give it all I got

why I must try to defy

the improbable

making it a reality

or simply why you are here

reading these words

open, seat, belt,

seat, belt, key

key, start, gas

start, gas, step

He relaxed. “I noe. Its’ just with the recent news and well, u guys aren’t…”
“seen as superheros, described as man-eating monsters. Yeah, I noe. It ain’t any easier on us than it is for you, you noe.” she said. Maybe he ain’t as bad as she thought.
“I noe. Like I was saying, I realized you’re the “one” for me. And well, I wanted to make it up to you but, you just…disappeared ever since that incident. So, I started investigating. I didn’t mean it to seem as evil intended as you’re making it out to be.” He said trying to speak to her, reach her.
She sighed. “wow, never figured you-you liked me that much.”
“think we could start over?” he asked.
“I don’t noe. I hafta see. Anyways, wat happened to my parents?” she asked trying to push the matter aside.
He took notice and sighed. “they moved..they didn’t seem all that happy. It seems like some family tension?” he replied suggestingly.
“family tension? Wat family tension?!” she said standing up and screaming in disappointment.
He shrugged.
“they give u a phone number? An address?” she asked desperately.
“umm…no address but here’s a phone number” he said as he offered a piece of paper.
“thanx…and I’ll consider it..u noe about us.” She replied with a slight smile as she made her way to the door.
“ok..i’ll be waiting here for ya.” He said with an inviting smile.
She smiled. “sure thing.” She waved as started walking back to the mansion. Family tension? Wat kind of family tension could they have? She sighed as she grabbed her cell phone and started dialing the number Jason gave her. Each time came busy. She sighed. She never saw this coming and dreaded it happening. Her nightmares…they were all true. She lightly sobbed to herself as she slowly walked back to the mansion.

Tears streamed down her face as she pounded her hands against his chest..."where are they? where did they go u monster?" she said out of anger. of course, she didn't mean monster in lieteral terms but he was the last person she wanted to see especially in her own house. something was defenitely wrong. he smirked and placed her hands on hers to stop her from pounding.
"calm down. i didn't kill them." he said trying to make seem everything was alright when it sure wasn't.
"calm down? you want me to calm down? and why should i listen to you, huh?" she asked clearly exploiting her anger at him. she didn't care wat excuses he had up his sleeves. she wasn't gonna fall for it.
"because i'm telling the truth, kitty." he sighed. a sign he was truly being sincere. she calmed down a bit and looked towards him with welded eyes. "i think you should come inside." he said moving back so she could make her way inside.
she sighed and hesistated as she made her way inside looking around for anything suspucious.
he chuckled. "don't wry. i don't have any hidden laser beams ready to shoot you" he replied with slight sarcasm. Something he always like to do..when they were together. she relaxed a bit and sat down on the couch, wiping her eyes for they were beginning to itch.
"so, mind explaining to me wat is going here, jason?" she said finally with a smile she hadn't given him in such a long time. but inside, she kept her guard up...just in case.
he smiled back. "been a long time since i've seen ya and its sure nice to see u smile again."
she looked towards him and sighed. "really?" she pouted. "and how exactly did you noe about the mansion and the picnic, huh?" she asked with raised suspicion.
He tensed up for a bit before he gave her an answer. "ok, i admit it. i reliezed i made a mistake leaving you back then..when you became..a.."
"a mutant? it isn't a cursed word, jason." she said to ease his tension a bit.

After the "rumored incident," Kitty left the rec room and logan to his thoughts. if he didn't want to talk about it to her, then she was gonna stop buggin him about it. She sighed as she walked down the hallway, bored-looking for sumthing to do other than study..she then remebered her mom and how they were supposed to be shopping..she smacked her head-how could she have forgotten? she sighed as she grabbed her phone and called her mom-however, no one picked up. Suspicion rosed inside her...there was always at least one of them at home..she placed her phone back on her hips as she rushed down the hallway weaving in and out of people standing in her way-ignoring their screams. When she got close to the door, she phased through it and started running towards the front gate. Panic was arousing inside her. of course, she could be panicking for nothing. She held back the tears trying to break fear causing her eyes to weld up. Don't wry- i bet its nothing she thought to herself. She phased through the front gate and started running-making her way to her house. Within an hour, she gasped for breath and once she got a hold of herself, she walked up the front porch and rang the doorbell. Surprise was written all of over her face as she saw who had opened the door...
