Fugazi feels like my favourite band yet i always failed to connect with their studio albums (except end hits but thats just for sentimental values). But in a way this session just clicks with me. Call it albini favourism but for me it just works! The way they just skip the bullshit and keep all the space for the song is just amazing in a way that feels normal but ingeneeal it just isn’t. Albini is a master in keeping the essence alive and thats exactly what a band like fugazi needs.
