LockCrypt 2.2

LockCrypt 2.2 is a program used for securing your personal information like passwords etc. This job is done by encrypting the data with strong, randomly generated passwords that are made of more than letters and numbers. The access to this data is protected by a strong password. The user interface of the software is simple and easy to use. When you start the software, you are provided with a tree structure of data and information with dummy data filled in and you can just start by editing these to create your own accounts. If you are not satisfied you can delete them and start your own account. The synchronization capability allows you to import or export data from and to external sources. This will help you when you want to use the information from more than one location. In such cases you can export the populated accounts or groups … to some database or text files and can be used from any location. Another interesting feature of this software is the secured clipboard which will be automatically deleted after a specific period of time which can be adjusted. Some of the new features added to this version include selective account export, Encrypted XML export. Installer option to associate LockCrypt with .lce files and status bar to show the location of the current database are also added. Many of the bugs of the previous versions are fixed in the current version.
