Believe it or not, I actually had a fic idea this morning.

I was thinking about how L. J. Smith totally dangled the carrot of "I really want to write a more adult, mature version of The Vampire Diaries, and then instead gave us this totally fucked up sexphobic series of sequels instead.

So, I was picturing how many scenes in the original series I could squeeze sex and/or other questionable material into without totally messing up the canon otherwise. And that of course got me thinking about what ways I could do it and totally mess up canon.

This is a slippery slope. But I have at least one scene written--in my head, anyway.

Sigh. Writing for this fandom makes me so depressed nowadays. But being depressed makes me angry, which gives me fire to persevere.
