FIVE YEARS IN THE MAKING

GOOD DAY, readers! I wanted to sit down and write a petite message to let you know that my one woman comedy show, VISIONARY… well, it’s coming, baby. In fact, from this writing, it is one month from today! GASP!

This show has been one of the most challenging and yet rewarding things I have ever worked on (funny how that works out), and if you’re in LA (or the surrounding areas), I would LOVE for you to be there!!

I’ll be debuting with TWO PERFORMANCES!

• Thursday, October 23 at LA Connection Comedy Theater in Burbank (tickets)

Does fortune actually favor the bold?

Linda Labia quit her job. When she puts on a documentary about the world’s most forward thinkers, her life begins to spiral as she makes a desperate move that could ruin everything she’s ever wanted. Rousing, flirtatiously satirical, and based on a semi-true story, VISIONARY explores what it means when the brightest minds aren’t necessarily the best.

Featuring several dynamic characters, musical bits, and an anxious woman in her living room, VISIONARY is a comedic solo show written and performed by Leah Jereb.

Co-produced by Steve Han (HBO, CBS, FX, UCB, Second City)

Advising by Phyllis Katz (Groundlings founding member, Showtime, CBS, Comedy Central)

I’m so proud of this show, and I think it’s really fun and funny and lighthearted and also stupid (in a good way). I’m grateful to everyone in my life who’s encouraged me to keep going on it, given advice, or even just said “omg, that’s awesome!!” Because now I’m a month away, and it feels like a dream come true! I can’t wait to show *~the world~*.
