The continuously failed attempts of job application oh shit.
And the spring jobfair. To my knowledge job fairs are pretty much useless. but I went this week’s one anyway. Perhaps that’s the thing about job fair. It’s held on the second floor of cafeteria so I just couldn’t ignore. At least you can get some free little gadgets like cups, pens, moleskin etc. More than half of the companies I’ve never heard of, or nobody’s heard of. There are so many little start-ups and it makes me wonder whether they make any feasible outcome. I once casually concerned about starting up my own, with pretty much stupid idea, but……sifjaiwefbag

Class. One of classes I’m taking requires this individual project and i consulted my topic with the professor but he says there's nothing new to do in the area of my interest and pushed me another topic that obviously he's very much interested in, because of my first language, of the archives that he cannot read and study but he wants to have someone to do with it, and these are really non of my interest, nothing to do with my major or future career, but anyway there's no time to fetch up a new idea and i'm doing it anyway, and it would waste a good chunk of my time this quarter SHIT SHIT SHIT

This is an old file which was sleeping at a dark corner of my hard drive and I finally finished it :D At that time of drawing this (few month ago) I read several underage!Arthur fics, obviously. In my mind, underage Arthur has become something like a monstrous lolita who eats out of poor, helpless adult Eamse;) idk the reason why. (sorry bb!Arthur ;)
now I became slightly prefer bb!Eames, (probably because of the marvelous fic Rule Ten)
but all the jailbait theme, both Arthur and Eames, are delicious blessings!!

Spring break’s over. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN TO ME, huh? During the week I just went to downtown San Francisco several times, catching up some concert, shopping, (mostly window shopping, until I get a job) but one cannot call something like that a wholesome vacation.

Among the old movies I re-watched this week was Titanic. It's one of those tear bomb movie, but in a good way I admit, not a squeezing-crouching way, and I like it really. and LEO! Young!LEO is so darling. When someone asks what's more of your taste: that young, lanky boy Leo, or today's tight, broad-shouldered, Cobb-squint Leo, I'm not sure where I'd go for. I loved that MTV-cult-style Rom&Jul, but I also loved Departed, and Blood Diamond. But since some point in the past, I see clearly something of his taste in his scenario choices: THE HOPELESS DISTOPIA stories. I bet he loves 1984 or Animal Farm.
Yes, Dystopia’s fine, but I'd like to watch something different: like Romantic Comedy, or Romantic Comedy, and/or just comedy :D

I want Eames of Arabia, and Africa, endless dessert, super badass spy action.
....maybe I'll be working on something like that later.

Catching up the news about things happening now in Libya, can't believe the batshit insane dictator still alive, and with tons of Gold in his hand to hire more mercenary. CNN says the strike was very effective. I've always adored B2 Bomber and other fancy jet fighters, but I really hope the civilians won't be killed anymore.

Anyway, today I was exhausted waiting for phone interviews those never called me on time, prolonging the pain.
So some more doodles were generated in this awful hours, like,

Eames giggling while working, saying something like, "Cobb's fucking hilarious lol"

and Arthur in SHOCK and AWE, at Eames' fashion sense :

"purple and green? really? how can a human being with a pair of properly functioning eye....!"

About the thing English being my second language.
Actually it’s not even my second in terms of fluency, so it’s the third…though I’m a shitty student-visa holder struggling my way in N.Cali, Every essay writing homework is just painful, takes FOREVER for me to finish one and, full of grammatical error in the end. Then somewhere between 3.A.M and 4.A.M on the due date I practically BEG someone remaining on g-talk or messenger proofread for me.
I’ll pay extra hundred, no, two hundred, maybe more, FAR MORE, for MS Word to be able to nitpick and let me get a perfectly flawless grammar. I know that’s not gonna happen even in the far future, not because I’m pessimistic, but Artificial Intelligence is a failed technology anyway, back in early 2000, or was it late 90s.

So, earlier this week I really devoured myself to the Inception Viking AU by helenish
And eventually ended up doodling bits and pieces of… well, some of the scenes.
It helped me a lot avoiding some depressing feeling about finals, job interviews, etc.

Here's what I got.

Whenever I read a fanfic, I like to think about the scene of first encounter of characters.
And I really fascinated with Arthur's POV: the ultimate romantic notion of LOVE AT FIRST SITE
Yes, that happens even in the scene of massacre.

All the cheesy blurriness, but what even enjoyable to read, is that, he doesn't know what just happened in his mind.
So be it.

Then it's Eames' POV

He freaks out, watching this barbarian, a nightmare

and some happy moment much later in the development

I love every part of it

Last week of winter quarter

Though I have to study for a final, write a paper, and prepare job interviews, you know that doodling under all those pressure feels extremely sweet. And I'm still into the movie I first watched last summer. And bought dvd like, on the first day of its release, and replayed it million times, like I have never done in my life, and lurking in LJ like some permanent ghost.
