LisaGUI
LisaGUI is a web OS inspired by the Lisa Office System, Apple's first graphical user interface (GUI). It aims to recreate the Apple Lisa's iconic 1-bit UI directly in your browser.

LisaGUI is based on the Lisa, a computer (and precursor to the Mac) sold by Apple in the mid '80s. Explore the site to learn more about this project and the history behind it. The pages are designed after some old Lisa brochures; scans can be found at Marcin Wichary's excellent Guidebook Gallery.
LisaGUI isn't a perfectly accurate recreation of the Lisa OS. It aims to strike a balance between historical accuracy and modern conveniences. The info page discusses these differences. For the most accurate experience possible, consider trying LisaEm.
LisaGUI is a work-in-progress. If you encounter a bug, or find any errors on these pages, the best place to send feedback is via email, or on Bluesky or Mastodon.
