Hey everyone!!
Been a while since my lost icon post here are some, it will be a while till my next post cause uni has began!!! noooooooo.
Anyways ive been watching all the bleach and naruto episodes!! Let me jst say the bleach fights, especially the one between Ichi and Byakushi was awesome!! Anyways enough about them here are the icons, yes they come with variations ^.^

Tutorial #1

Hello All,
So here i am attempting my first tutorial ^.^ (Plz be nice hehehe)
We shall be seeing how we make this lovely icon of kakashi

Step 1:
With the background layer, duplicate it.
Overlay the background layer copy.
Desaturate the original background layer.
I had changed the background layer copy to 92% Fill, however each image is different so play around until you get what think is nice.

Step 2:
Add a new layer and fill it with black.
Change the blend mode of the Black layer to overlay.

Step 3:
Duplicate the Black layer, change the blend mode of the 2nd black layer to normal.
With the 2nd black layer erase some black around the area where Kakashi's head is, use the soft round brush (which is part of the photoshop brushes) so you can get a fading look.

Step 4:
Now for the text.
I used the font Tw Cen MT Condensed Bold, and wrote 'MYSTERIOUS'
And placed it at the bottom of the icon and cutting a bit of the text at bottom.
I also added some small text on top of the main text.
Basically you guys can place anything you want as the text ^.^

Final Product:

Here is the psd file if it will help ^.^

I decided to use an icon that was simple to do for my first tutorial cause i have no idea how to write one hahaha, so if there is any holes in here or something let me know.

B00yA!
How is everyone? Its been a long time since my last post, been a bit busy with uni so ya.
Here are 46 Naruto icons. Hope u guys like em ^^ i did most of them as variations. Ive been patiently waiting for new naruto episodes to come to Australia and i still must wait!!! So we are still on episode 52. Unless those lucky ppl with paid tv would watch naruto on Cartoon Network. Ive recently started to watch bleach! omg its so good!!! lol same as naruto i must wait for new dvd to come out which will be out at the end of this month yay. Im only up to episode 28 in bleach lol and reading on the net there is 160 something episodes.

Have had 3 months of hols from uni, been so bored so decided to begin to make icons after looking at other peoples work (which are great!). Naruto has begun showing in Australia so im goin a bit obsessed with this show lol made a few icons some are horrible some r okay (my fave is no 8 lol big fan of kakashi) but not as good as the ones ive seen but i will slowly learn and hopefully my icon making will get better.
Thanks to dumago for making nice brushes and textures. big thanks to lizabeth0606 for making great tutorials which helped me heaps.
