Add me if you'd like. It won't upset me if you don't - think of it as a friend's cut, if you will, if you've been meaning to get rid of me (I hope that isn't the case, though.)

It's been a good six years being here but as these things go, it's time to move on. It's a bit hard leaving here as lintwhite is synonymous with "Layne" in my head but change can be a good thing, a refreshing thing. This place is full of memories but also dead journals and communities I don't wish to be a part of any longer so I think starting over is best.

Thank you to everyone for putting up with me for the past six years here and hopefully we'll have an even grander time over at yuripetrov.

So, yesterday, Mom got a call from Target asking me if I could come in for an interview today. Which I flopped around excitedly about because holy shit, someone thought my application was decent enough to warrant an interview and also because Target was one of my top picks out of the five hundred million applications I put in.

I won't describe the interview process in detail because...it was very long but I came away with what they called a "conditional job offer." Meaning, I suppose, that if I pass the drug test and show up for the orientation next week, I have the job? They even asked me to get a red shirt and khaki pants so I suppose they mean business, no pun intended. I'm not getting my hopes but I'm kind of tripping out here. I did not expect anything to come out of this.

Oh and I also wanted to say that I'm going to be moving journals soon. I don't have a name picked out for a new one but I'll announce it when I do. Anyone who is friended here is free to follow me there and also free to not follow me (although it's appreciated if you do.)

After a...patience-testing afternoon at McDonald's where the Internet stopped working right in the middle of the episode, Meg and I moved on to Hardees, where we finished watching Tiger & Bunny 12 in all of its fucking glory.
