The application is both an Instant and Step By Step Solver.
Step By Step Solver means it shows each step taken to reach the answer(ie. shows the user the algorithm behind it) The application can both Solve a Matrix, and also gives the Inverse of a matrix. More over it shows the determinant.
This application is useful for students and instructors, the ones who want to learn and teach linear algebra.
features:
1) Given a matrix, calculates its row echelon and reduced row echelon form.
2) Given a matrix, calculates its inverse, if it exists, and the determinant.
3) For all the above it shows the algorithm behind it in a meaningful colourful way.
Instructions on how to use the application:
1) In this application we used buttons instead of text input. So to give input you need to tap the button and the value in it will be incremented.
2) When you want to construct a matrix, you have 2 buttons, the 1st one is the number of rows, the second is the number of columns.
3) After you made the matrix with the dimensions you wanted, for giving the matrix inputs, you need to tap on each cell to increment the value in it.
4) To change the incrementation value to something else than one, tap on the text box on top of the matrix and change the number. The number can be negative like -5, rational : 7/3, or 3.2.
5) Make sure that the number you type for the incrementation value text box does not follow any space as well as characters, in other words, it should only be a valid number.
