It's that season again!

I seriously can't believe we are not only approaching fall, but actually right in the middle of it! End of summer and beginning of fall in my country was beautiful. We had such warm weather, but now it's getting colder, and I'm feeling how we approach winter ^^

How are you guys doing? I hope you are all well!

I'm honestly still not sure what to do with this journal... what to post and write. I'm so confused *lol*

Fangirl-wise I'm really digging some Netflix-series at the moment.
I recently watched:
- Maniac: OMG it was so confusing and crazy but so good. I'm not surprised that the producer apparantly was Japanese. Loved the acting and the whole premise of it! Did anyone of you watch it?
- Haunting in Hill House: I'm such a chicken normally when it's about horror movies, but this one sounded so interesting, I had to try it. And I did not regret watching it. It was such a great family drama with some scary parts to it (not over the top scary though!) Great actors, tight atmosphere... and the whole filming and details were awesome.
- Stranger Things: I'm so late to this party, but once I gave it a try, I was hooked. I don't know what it is... but I think I just love the mix of the 80s feelings, the characters, the whole plot, the atmosphere. Just YAY <3
- iZombie: Funniest crime series I saw in forever. I love how Liv reacts to the brains and how she adopts their personalities. As a nerd myself I was laughing so much when she at the game master brain ^^
- Jack Ryan. (okay, I know, this is a Prime series) Actually I did not believe this would be so good. I thought it's going to be the typical American spy drama, but boy this was deep. They actually put effort into explaining backgrounds!

Anyone of you seen these series? :-)

Other than that, I'm really hyped about all the upcoming Marvel movies. Just love these franchises so much. I just hope they won't kill Iron Man in the next Avengers movie. He is probably my fav character, and I really want to see him happy and content for once at the end of the movie. I'm also getting more and more into Dr. Strange. He is too awesome to ignore.

Okay, that's all I guess :-)
I've a few fics on my harddrive which I wrote last year, but haven't posted yet. It's mostly Sakumoto I think. Anyone interested?

1) I managed to get a LE copy for Arashi Are you happy/Japonism arena. Japonism is only on the LE. But jeez, the price! I spend 140$ (including shipping) That's a lot, and normally nothing I would spend for a concert DVD. Arashi is the only exception. but...yay, finally the release is there <3 I hope the blu-rays aren't region-locked. On yesasia they always say their stuff is region-locked, but cdjapan says it's not. So... I'll see...

2) So, after feeling dramatic yesterday about the lj/dw situation, I gave myself a little push and worked on my DW journal/community. Jeez, I don't know how, but I managed to exchange ALL the links of my masterpost (inlcuding multi-chapters). SISYPHUS WORK, people! I'm not kidding, I spent a whole day on that. Do you know how old some of my entries are? My very first fanfics I posted to my journal, not to my community, and my journal has a messed up tag-system. Later on I linked to these via my community. So, if you click on my ohmiya-tag in the comm., you'll stumble over a fanfic that leads to this journal here, all via links. Now what I had to do with my new DW accounts was: FIND ALL THE FREAKING JOURNAL ENTRIES (and let's not forget I'm writing fanfics since 2009/10, so... there are many entries to look for....) and as I said, I forgot to tag some of these entries proplery, so I had to go back to a certain date to find the stuff - and then exchange the links to every entry.
Also while DW imported some stuff, there are lj-names it didn't import properly which messed up formatting a bit. I changed that too. The only thing missing to do now is to seriously go through my private journal entries and delete the unnecessary stuff. I should have done that long ago. So in a way, transferring my journals to DW was a good way to clean things up a bit *lol*

After all the work though I realized: If I put so much effort into this, I'll probably start using DW as my main fic archive...

3) I've decided to blog regularly again, just for the fun of it. So, I can maybe communicate with my friends' list more. So, talk to me, please <3

4) I watched Ghost in the shell last week. Probably going to make an extra post for it later. I didn't hate it :-)

As you might have realized everyone at Lj is bascially either confused or stressed out because of Lj now being entirely owned by Russia.

I'm posting my new multi-chapter!
I hope you remember my POLL? :D Funny enough the story I had the least inspiration for won the poll, and I had to come up with something. The pairing everyone wanted was Sakumoto.

Thanks to it winning the poll, I suddenly was really motivated to work on a good plot and all, and actually I think the outcome might be pretty interesting. It's nothing I have written before - the first time ever I wrote a whole multi-chapter with a main-character who cannot talk.

A brief summary of the plot: Sho is a rich businessmen, but his life feels empty. One night he stumbles over a young man, unconscious and beaten up. Trying to escape his rather empty life he takes him home to help. Once the man wakes up though, he has forgotten everything he is and his entire past. On top of that he has lost his voice. He has no wallet or documents with him. All that remained is his name.

Genre: AU, romance, fantasy (There are no vampires or alike. It's more like a fairytale meets our world meets romance meets Nino in a tight gothic-like outfit)
Plot: When you have no other place to visit and lost all your hope, you'll go to a mysterious, little shop. Dealing with hopes and dreams and with his protector Ninomiya at his side, Jun keeps his real identity a secret, constantly on the run. No one knows who he is, what he runs from and where he comes from. One unfortunate day though a young doctor demands his services, asking for a piece of sunshine. It's the beginning of something... like the ticking sound of a clock you can't turn back...
Note: I don't know if it makes sense, but every now and then a story kind of happens to you, you know? I wrote this around July in some sort of writing-haze, when I was free for a week. It really just came to me, and I'm so... anxious about this, because I love how it happened, and I hope you will love it too <3

Plot: Although they are both young students at college, both the youngest brothers within three, and both part of high society, there are worlds between Jun and Masaki. Jun comes from a rich, traditional and conservative family, while Masaki's family gained wealth and fame by luck. Masaki is cheerful and enjoys life to the fullest. Jun is unusually earnest and distanced. Although part of the same glamorous world, their paths would have never crossed, they would have never even talked, but then Masaki's brothers decide he needs to catch up with his studies, and hire Jun as his tutor. With being so different it seems they will never get closer, until they realize that they both hold a sad secret.
Note: This is dedicated to yukitsubute. I had (and still have) a lot of fun writing this, and I wonder where it takes me to. I can promise you some fluff, some fun and some drama (the usual ^^) There might even be some hurt & comfort.

Advent calendar (December) project!

I'm doing it again :D

I know it's still October, but I'll be on vacation (in Japan :D) for three weeks from Saturday on, and I need to think about my Advent calendar early enough :D

I'll be doing the Advent calendar project again. I'm not even sure if everyone of you knows what exactly it is? Once December starts children (and also grown-ups :P) receive such a calendar... with 24 doors and a surprise behind every door (it can be chocolate, a picture, it can be self-filled by the parents with little presents, it can be cosmetics etc. It depends on what kind of calendar you want. I bought myself a cosmetic and make-up calendar this year (I'm such a girl sometimes :D)

So, I've decided to make a fandom Advent calendar :D Just for the fun of it, and because I like this time of a year a lot. December <3
This of course is a project for all my lovely friends and readers. For each day in December until Christmas I'll post a little Drabble with the pairing one of you requests.
