Today we were reminded of what it feels like to not be cold all the time. 17°C, glorious sunshine. Sound of birds chirping in the park. Faint noises of spring slowly edging towards us.
Listened to “This Music May Contain Hope” over the weekend. Raye’s absolutely smashed it. Bold, vibrant, decadent and so much depth. This is going to be on hard rotation for a while. 🎵

I went for my lunchtime two-mile walk today without listening to music, audiobook or podcast, opting instead for the natural sound of everything going on around me. Oddly enough, I found it to be far more invigorating than doing otherwise, even with all the car traffic.

I’m trying a new approach to blogging. I’ve got 3 micro.blog’s which can cross post to Bluesky and/or Mastodon if I want. This seems a more coherent way to handle my existence on multiple platforms.
Time will tell if it’s any better than what I’ve had before.

The MacBook Neo might be one of my favorite Macs ever. Equally important in my computing setup as my Mac Studio. But this thing is everything I wanted it to be. Held out for over a year. Totally worth it.

It’s still incredible to read just how many futuristic things Gibson accurately described way back in 1984 but the accuracy that stood out most in this read is how thoroughly wealth can destroy peoples' humanity.

World Down Syndrome Day is on March 21, and as a father of a daughter with Down syndrome, this video is a must-watch. The words we use shape how people are perceived and valued, and choosing respectful language is essential to fostering a more inclusive society.
I spotted this cool record store while I was at work today. I love that there are still places like this around. Sometimes the perseverance of the past gives hope for the future.
