Welcome to the Language and Infant Learning Lab!
In the LIL (Language and Infant Learning) Lab, we study how
language and cognition develops. We are part of the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego.
In our research, we study how infants, children, and adults develop and become skilled language
users. We ask questions about how children learn new words and concepts, as well as investigate the
driving factors that motivate learning.
