A river in Israel has become the latest waterway to turn red “like the Bible’s plague of blood in Egypt”, shocking local observers, scientists and Biblical scholars.

Reports of rivers, rain and bodies of water turning red all over the world have shocked Biblical scholars who warn the phenomenon is a sign we have reached the end times as prophesied in the Book of Revelations.

One photographer described the reddened Nahal Alexander river as looking “like the Bible’s plague of blood in Egypt”.

The Alexander River runs the width of Israel, from the hills of the Nablus on the West Bank to the sea. The river is loved for its wildlife and beauty but in recent weeks, it has been polluted with blood-filled water.
