Guess I'm an author now??
Do you ever have one of those moments where you just stop and think, “this is my life now"? Because I have several. Who allowed me to be an adult, earn adult money, and do grown up stuff? LIKE WRITE A BOOK AND PUBLISH IT?
Most days I feel like I still need adult supervision, and then it hits me that I am in fact the adult supervising me. And let me tell you, supervising yourself is hard.
Existential crisis aside, today I’m celebrating the release of my book - Love Below Zero.
It’s been a trip, and I am so grateful to everyone who has been a part of my author journey so far.
I also thought I would use this post to answer some questions about Love Below Zero, so here are the answers no one asked for lol.
Love Below Zero FAQ
Q: How spicy is Love Below Zero?
A: It is definitely a slow burn. While I am hesitant to give it a 🌶️-rating, I would say about
🌶️🌶️/5. There are three open-door scenes that involve some light bondage.
Q: Will it be a series?
A: Maybe in the future I’ll write a book for Eli and Jules, but at the moment I don’t have any solid plans. Love Below Zero was written as a standalone. I am working on some other ideas at the moment, but never say never!
Q: Is there a third-act breakup?
Nope! As a reviewer put it: “they work through their issues like adults (sarcastic, bantering adults, but still adults).”
I initially wrote a third-act breakup, but James overruled me.
Q: Will there be signed copies?
A: At the moment, no. I recently moved to South Korea and it’s just too expensive to ship overseas (plus a language barrier) so there won’t be any signed copies at the moment. You can still order a paperback from Amazon! (Unless you live in South Korea, then I’m happy to send you a signed copy).
Q: Will there be an audiobook?
I hope so! Audiobooks are incredibly important to me and I hope that Love Below Zero will be successful enough for me to afford having an audiobook made. Please keep reading and leaving reviews, they help a LOT.
