Technical Difficulties
For those waiting on a new post from me, I am trying to resolve several technical issues. Mostly, the issue is congestive hardware failure on my computer, which is almost old enough to drink.
I am an incredibly impatient person with anything that runs on electricity, so my motivation to write is being strangled by a combination of the computer crashing regularly and the lack of effective editing features on the Substack app.
As a rule, I require less processing power than my husband. I just use his old computers until they die completely. My last one was one my husband had built while he was in the Navy, a decade or so before he met me. It worked like a dream until one card went bad, but the machine was so old that the card couldn't really be replaced because the standards for everything else had changed so much. That's pretty much where I am with this one too.
My husband, God bless him, is a techy person. He is already looking at parts to build a new machine so that I can use the one he's currently using, which should run for at least 10 more years without issues. We're fine, and it's getting resolved.
I am putting this out as a regular post on the Substack app rather than a note so that my regular readers recieve the update by email. Everything will be fixed soon, and I appreciate your patience.

Thanks for sharing your content. I appreciate the effort and your insight.
And here’s to the “techy” people in our lives. May we all know or have one. Hope it’s resolved sooner rather than later for you.
