Beautiful movie. Awesome cast. Feel so real.
My family moved to the States when I was already an adult, but my sister was exactly in eight grade. Was a difficult and hard year for her (and for us). And thought she is so different to Kayla, both struggled with the same kind of hell that is that age when you are not young enough to be a kid and not old enough to be actually a teenager.
I'm happy to know that Kayla and my sister too, are heading towards a brighter future. Won't be easy, but that's life right?

This is a powerful story and I think it was wasted. Is just the tip of the iceberg, and it was better if they picked just one story to follow instead of four incomplete stories.
The movie feel longer because of this, and is not enough to really feel what the characters are living, we understand it because it was showed to us, but there is not time to really feel a boy who wants to walk again, or a…
