The fact that you cannot predict what she is going to do next makes it all the more unsettling....

Genuinely terrifying while also hilarious at times. Inde's acting as Nikki Is phenomenal and really showcases the depth and complexity of such a character instead of merely being "crazy" or "possessed". I had trouble finding anything I wanted MORE out of the film, as the punches kept coming and I felt the movie moved at an appropriate pace and did not try to overextend itself or go beyond what was logical for the story. Ultimately this is peak indie horror and a perfect film.

As I was watching this I was feeling massive Oddity vibes, then I realized its the same director. Not quite as good as Oddity but McCarthy does such a wonderful blend of the supernatural and human drama elements in his stories that fuels that sense of dread and suspense that has you on the edge of your seat and has me looking forward to what else he has in store.

The film nearly plays as though it is a simple 80s horror film,…

Granted i am quite late to view this film, but hey im only 19 so perhaps if i was around during 1968 this film would have been more impressive. First i shall state what i liked about the film, the visuals are quite miraculous, considering the time period, kubrick's models and set design are certainly unnerving and quite effective in building atmosphere. The score certainly adds to the intense effect and…
