forever proud of Hallie and Rupert for bringing their films to life with such distinct talent. retains the wordless storytelling and eye for landscapes that made Mother of Son of Kong impactful and adds so much more, including a deeply impressive stop-motion sequence. combine all of that with beautiful mini dv cinematography, and you get an effortlessly-charming holiday classic that i’ll be watching for years to come.
