Amaze!

There is a good idea in the movie somewhere, but pacing is way too slow. Could have been great as a short film. Some of the shots are really beautiful, like the one overlooking the huge factory.
Problem with this kind of "supernatural" movie is it doesn't make sense after analysis. Not sure what the second white crocodile is supposed to mean.
Watching this makes me feel nostalgic. As an ethnic Chinese, there are a lot of elements that play exactly like real life: having a grand wedding just to show-off to others, the dinner scene where everybody shares food and takes food for other people, sibling rivalry, etc.
I wasn't that close to my grandparents; one of my grandmothers passed away when I was quite young, and the other when I was overseas. In fact I wasn't told of the news…
Simply breath-taking. Everything is perfect. Can't wait for the 50th anniversary.
