I liked this. It has no real plot, or substance, but I liked it anyway. The simplicity, the music, the ability to find joy in everything. Not every day is going to be perfect, but we can make the most of all of them.
Every one of these "live your life to the fullest" movies gets me. I don't think I've ever walked away from one thinking, "The message was great, but the cinematography, writing, or something else held it back." They always seem to hit me right in the feels.
This was genuinely one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and first 30 minutes were probably the worst 30 minutes of any movie I have ever seen. Every single person in this movie should be in prison.

Yeah, go ahead and tell me that I didn't get it. That was one of the worst things I've ever seen. I've realized that Kubrick does not know how to direct a decent movie. Sure, he can make all the scenes look pretty, but after that, he decides to put a bunch of incomprehensible crap of a plot together, and then slaps one of the worst scores I've ever heard over the top of it.
