Zazie Beets kicks ass!! They Will Kill You is pure popcorn carnage. It's a little Kill Bill, a little Ready or Not, but there's enough of a twist to keep it interesting. The fights are great! Zazie carries the action and the music was pretty fun, I was jamming to a couple sequences. Pop it on for dinner some time if you wanna see an angry girl fuck up a bunch of cultists.

Please Baby Please is basically gay slam poetry. If you can get in the campy finger-snapping headspace and make it through the lofty dialogue there is a really interesting story to be found here about sex, gender and relationships. And it looks great, it's such a colorfully lit movie. Andrea Riseborough's performance is incredible! I was a fan of hers before but now I'm hooked!!

Pure creative insanity with 1000% commitment. Boots Riley is out here making real shit yall. I Love Boosters is hilarious, colorful, surreal, on the fuckin spot with social commentary and stacked top to bottom with an incredible cast. Name me one bad performance. You can't! The music is odd and cutesy, and the variations in visual effects!! Are crazy!! I could gush about this movie for a while, but the summary is that it made me laugh a hell of a lot and kept me smiling from start to finish. loved it.
