An early scifi flick which may or may not was an inspiration for the Planet of the Apes.
This movie does not fuck around too long and sends us right to Mars in a shabby space ship and after some turbulences right back to earth.
That was a spoiler, sorry. Our heroes land on a foreign planet which they later identify as Earth, but one nuclear war and a couple of centuries later.
What follows is cheesy scifi schlock par excellence. Mutated spiders, mutated mutants and cultivated people sporting colorful swimming caps that live underground to hide from the dangers above.
Quick to the point, easy to watch and as cheesy as it gets. Fun.
