Born Happy

ABOUT

During the summer school holidays, nine-year-old Ilse joins her family in the rainforest where they live with the Pemon tribe, near Devil’s Mountain. When an accident forces her mom to take her dad to the hospital, Ilse must take care of her four-year-old brother Alex. But instead of taking care of her brother, she spends her time with her nose buried in a book. When Ilse finally looks up, she discovers that Alex has disappeared. All indications are that he has wandered off towards the jungle. Now Ilse must find her little brother and bring him back before her parents arrive.
