But I suggest for English speaking scanlators to look preferably at the non-Harlequin manga list. The Harlequin comics are consistently translated into English by the publisher. So sooner or later, the one you're interested in will get translated. Contrastingly, the non-Harlequin mangas are barely picked by anyone.

Looking through my Harlequin raws collection, one artist makes me ache for another mangaka terribly.

I miss you so much, Takashima-sensei.

The BL community lost a great artist when she went on hiatus so many years ago. I used to think that should she not have suffered the trouble she had met, she would have become one of the top BL artists, maybe in the same league as Yamane Ayano-sensei. And Yamane-sama is my ultimate reference for the BL genre!

I'm so very sad that Last Client will likely never get the end it deserves.

ABOUT REUPLOADS

I've already posted this note but with the same questions still popping up to me, I'm gonna write this again in my bio and in this post. I'm going to elaborate a little so I wouldn't have to repeat myself.

- I don't reupload whole past sets. If you're interested in a specific manga, name it.
- I prefer posting more "new mangas" than past uploads. So the reuploads don't exceed one third of a batch.
- I don't reupload mangas that have been licensed in English and released by the publisher.
- Scanlators' requests are exceptions.

For mangas I don't reupload, I at least inform the person it's available for purchase in English.
If I don't reply to your comment and the manga you've requested fits my conditions, I will eventually reupload it in a future post in a new batch of smutty shoujos/joseis.

Now, I'll tell you some of my quirks about posting those sets of smutty TLs/OLs:
- I post when I want to, not when you ask me to. I have a real life and sharing smutty mangas or reuploading them is certainly not my priority.
- I don't post the download links for the public to see. My livejournal is public. The links are posted to a private community. Private means private. You're not a member of the group, you don't get the treats. Read my whole messages at my livejournal when I announce a new set release, the clues are right under your nose about where to get the mangas.
- You only have a few days to download the links before I remove them. I always give you the deadline. So when it's too late, it's too late. Say clearly you're requesting the reupload of the manga you covet following my rules. I'll listen to you and file it for a later re-share.
- I will ignore every message asking where's the link. I already answered.

After reading the first chapter of Amelita's Viewfinder fanfic Abduction, I couldn't help sketching this silly piece:

I'm not gonna post this to the Yamane com. Maybe it could offend some fans and I don't want to hurt anybody's feeling. This is just me going overboard goofy, inspired by this fanfic. At least, Amelita was positively amused.

Like all disclaimers, I swear I don't own Viewfinder characters, they are Yamane-sensei's properties. I used her own drawing for the chibi faces, all the nonsense around these faces are me fooling around with Amelita's ideas (alien abduction, Katy Perry's song E.T.) and my daft sense of humour. For those of you who can read Italian, I’m sure you’ll end up finding this nice surprise. I just saw it looking at DC team’s place, where they have released the first chapter of Yume no Kishi ni Futatabi, aka A Dance Through Time, based on Lynn Kurland’s novel and illustrated by Tsuji Rikako.

I don’t know Italian myself. At least, I know French and some Spanish, and learned latin in my long gone junior high years. So even though I don’t understand everything, I can still vaguely grasp the meaning of the Italian translation.
A heartfelt thank you to the team. I wasn’t expecting them to release something so soon.

Now, if only some group or someone decides to start scanlating into English or French those Romance comics (based on Western works and original Japanese mangas) still sitting forlornly in my hard drive…

But I'd really like for scanlators to look at the Romance mangas instead of the Harlequin ones. It's not that I don't like Harlequin comics. It's just that they are now consistently translated and released by the publisher. So sooner or later, the Harlequin manga you're interested in will be officially translated. In comparison, the Romance mangas are hardly picked up by anyone so far.

My wide screen monitor broke about a month ago. I can't buy a new one right now and am using a spare smaller monitor. It takes me four to six times longer to screencapture a manga. There are only 2 smutty additions this time: Royal Prince no Hatsukoi and Keiyaku no Kiss. Both are kinda disappointing for me, though they are sweet reads. I'm especially enthusiast about my Reforming Lord Ragsdale purchase. I've never read anything written by Carly Kelly, but this manga is sure something really different and lively. I'm not going to comment more about it though hope a scanlator or some publisher will decide to translate it because the manga is very good!

So, I'm gonna talk a little bit about my impressions about the 2 smutty mangas of my selection.

Royal Prince no Hatsukoi – Kyuutei Netsuai Romance is very mild in fact. There's only one sex scene at the end and it is rather tame.

Both manga and josei light novel versions are illustrated by Yamada Pan-sensei. I can't say I'm too fond of that type of art style, but it's cute.

With a crossdressing theme and a female lead enrolling into the Royal guard, I thought the heroine would be a headstrong lady fighting her own battles without anyone's help like lady Oscar in Versailles no Bara.

But though the mangaka shows at the start that Cyril knows swordsmanship, there's no ambiguity about her gender for everyone. She is a female guard. But in the one scene where the need to show her fencing skills becomes imperative, she's just standing frozen all dolled up in her pretty military uniform while the prince she's supposed to protect defeats their assailants, all by himself, in a show of male smugness.

Yeah, right… So much for expecting a heroine who wouldn't be another damsel in distress to be saved by the hero…

Ah well, at least the romance is sweet and the background about the prince and Cyril's first encounter adds even more sweetness. As for the plot, I don't know what's going on in this manga. There's some sort of mystery.

I already wrote a similar note previously and am just pasting it again with a little change for the manga title.
I'm not sharing publicly the mangas I list in my Harlequin and romance mangas collection. The raws that belong to me personally are digital mangas that I screencap myself. Like I repeated again and again, they are exclusively for scanlators who would request them to work on translating them.

Keiyaku no Kiss — Daifugou to Kizoku Reijou light novel version is illustrated by Sugahara Ryu. Though I like this mangaka's art style in her BL works, I wince a bit at her shota fetish and the cover of Keiyaku no Kiss — Daifugou to Kizoku Reijou shows a very lolita-ish heroine.

Now that I notice this, it makes me wonder if the story states that Julia — the female lead — looks more jailbait than barely legal because I also thought with a twinge of disappointment when I first looked at the manga version that Kouzuki Sachino-sensei drew a very "young" girl. I keep remembering the ample bossom of the curvaceous heroine in Arabian Romance ~ Hanayome wa Ou no Ude de Madoromu so Julia's budding breasts and leaf thin petite body unsettle me a bit.

All in all, it is a sweet story. I guess I enjoyed so much Arabian Romance, I was sort of expecting the same type of crazy entertainment from Keiyaku no Kiss, but it is just a nice predictable erotic romance. At least, the sex is hot and at the same time heartwarming.
